Holiday Update 2024 installing now w/ FSD 13.2.2!

Maybe I am old fashioned, but if ANYBODY should have this update FIRST, it's Santa... around Christmas. ?

Thanks, I got it and LOVE the new Sleigh (CT) in Santa mode AND to be able to do lightshows is outstanding as I will be able to sit in my chair in the workshop and light the truck off instead of having to get up, go out, climb in it and lose all that time. Blitzen can keep the kids in the line entertained, tomorrow...sniff, last day at the workshop, have to load things up for tomorrow night. Ho, Ho, Howdy!!! Appreciate the kind thoughts, Chris.

Not a complaint or negative but with all the great things on the update, we lost the red nose on the left reindeer. No Rudolph, Santa notices these things...but all is good, just a Kringle observation.

Check on Google Maps to see if there isn't any road mistakenly marked as public or connecting. I've moved several business's locations slightly to the correct roads.

Have not seen it mentioned yet, so I'll bring it up. The release notes showed the ability to zoom the rear view camera. I'm happy to report that this works very well for the rear-view mirror screen. The zoomed view is now very close to what a regular rear-view mirror would show. In my opinion, this should eliminate the need/desire for the aftermarket digital rear-view cameras.

Just thought I'd share, for those that have not tried it yet.

When I use the rear-view mirror and/or camera, it is a quick glance to see what is behind me that I can't see in the side view mirrors. The current system, after the update, meets my needs. Your needs/results may vary. I would encourage everyone to at least give it a try.

I don't mean to bring everyone down but this update bricked me. There is a separate thread for those few of us bricked, but if I were about to do a road trip or worse was on one you might pause before updating.

Yes a quick glance requires it to be even clearer and brighter. If I had all day to look at it and figure out what Im looking at then maybe a blurry and dark picture would be OK.

I have issue with it not wiping when it's raining lol. It cancelled FSD before it wiped.

TuneIn is a downgrade from what we used to have. Favorites used to be a list spread out across multiple rows now it’s just one long row we have to scroll through.

Wiper turning on with no water is just annoying and so is the Uber sensitive lane departure warning when I’m dead center and not deviating.
