When do you think those of us in the UK who preordered early will be able to take delivery of the first CTs?

When is the UK going to get the Model Y? It came out 18 months ago here...

Update - sounds like first or second quarter 2022. So two years after it was in North America.

It would be interesting to know how many right hand drive CT reservations there are for the entire world, as they will all have to be shipped it would make sense to make and ship them all in one batch, I say make these after the first 100,000 or so, I hope Sandy has the first one off the line that way we can all get to see what weā€™ve all been waiting for. God I hope we are allowed to have it here.

I hope to sneak one of my pre-orders into Thailand through Malaysia as a tourist traveler vehicle.
I'd love to have it RHD.
Maybe by then the sadly super corrupt Thai customs will allow China made EV's into the country duty free.
But I ain't gonna bet on on it.

Not to throw any cold water on our international friends, but where the hell are you going to drive a Cybertruck?

Here in 'Merica, we make things big. The CT is big. The roads are BIG. Our roads are built for the apocalypse. I can't even reach the drive-thru window from the Delorean because they're designed for the height of a lifted 4x4.

I've seen UK roads that are one-lane. With a stone wall. On both sides. Most of the world does not share the American passion for taking things that are too large and making them larger. My last Japanese car (Mazda CX9) was too large to legally drive on the roads in Japan, and the Cybertruck is bigger than that!

There's plenty of delivery vans and lorries (mostly without drivers atm) in the UK that are much bigger than a CT.

CT is less wide than a Honda CRV with mirrors, and 5" less wide than a Model Y with mirrors. Turning circle with 4WS should be less than either.

Roads will handle it fine even here in Switzerland, people will just have to get used to it making roads one lane, which is the same for delivery vans. Theres a lot more large classic US cars in Switzerland than most other European countries and they all seem to travel fine. The point is they won't be the biggest or widest thing on the road by far. Parking is a different matter though.

There are loads of trucks the same size as CT already
