Was thinking along those lines after I posted.....makes sense. The receiver hitch has tow shackle d-ring mount as well.

For pulling the guts out of Ford F-150 Lightning..... ?

From what I've read, this CT which is on the platform is more of an unfinished working model compared to the one that was being detailed. These pintle mounts are also located at the front. From a photo with CT and Semi yesterday, you could see a pair of cables at the back of the Semi. I now believe it was towing this CT into position.

Another interesting fact about this CT is that it doesn't have a dedicated driver IP but the more complete CT does.

I've looked but may have missed it, did anyone grab a decent photo of the inside with possible updates from the prototype? All the interior pictures I've seen people try and take were nothing but glare/reflections off the glass.
