Has anyone RECEIVED a 2026 Cybertruck?

I ordered mine on 4/18. Premium AWD with all standard options. VIN assigned this afternoon. VIN 935xx. Already at delivery center. I’m located in Texas.

That was my assumption when it popped up all of the sudden (went immediately from no VIN to VIN assigned and at location ready to schedule delivery).

That older VIN makes me very suspicious.

The vehicle may have been damaged during transport and it just got out of the collision center. Perform your due diligence.

For $80k I would demand a fresh VIN and not accept the older VIN that Tesla assigned you.

Anything in particular you would look for during due diligence? I wouldn’t have ever thought they would try to sell me a damaged truck. I assumed it was one someone ordered and decided not to go through with (I did that recently with a Model S I had ordered and found one in inventory and took it instead while mine was still in production).

The exterior is tough to inspect due to zero paint on the SS. For example, a damaged quarter panel could be replaced but you won’t be able to tell since it has no exposed bolts or paint to inspect.

In addition to the checklist above I would look at the windshield and roof glass alignment.

Hopefully your SC will be 100% transparent with you and explain why you were assigned an older VIN.

I agree that you should definitely inspect that. I ordered on 4/9 and my estimated got pushed back to May 20th - June 30th. If everything works out that's super early.

As always with Tesla no matter what they say inspect it. I spent over an hour on my Y before I paid them.

My delivery was supposed to be "4-6 weeks" from 3/23/26.

If you watch Joe T.’s Giga TX drone videos you’ll notice that Cybertruck production is very low on his flying days. I counted less than 25 CT’s sitting in the outbound lot yesterday, April 24th.

Tesla runs a very tight ship when it comes to assembly plant manpower. My guess is they are concentrating labor on Model Y and CyberCab assembly.

I thought that might be the case because the estimate got pushed back when they announced the start of CyberCab production. Doubling or more the estimated delivery at order is pretty bad though. I'm hoping to get one before the end of June but I suppose we'll see.

When i got my new CT over a month ago, it had a factory software build: 2026.2.200. I’m still on that build. Has anyone who got a factory build in the last couple of months gotten a subsequent software upgrade yet?

When was the latest delivery? With my March 23 order, and expected June 30 date. I'm thinking they've been paused... cuz that's a LONG time when I was told "4-6 weeks"... and yes I assume to blame the PCS.
