FYI you should not do this. Inflating the springs from empty should not be done when the truck is sitting all the way down on the bump stops. There’s a risk for damage when doing this

I would agree. I could imagine if you tried to load heavy items or vehicles in the bed with the bags deflated you could potentially mess it up. IDK though. Tesla should just come up with a mode that allows this instead. Especially to prevent damage.

Here's how to squat your Cybertruck using Deflate suspension mode:

Thank you for that another feature would have never thought about. We almost need to take a course on CT

When I tested it I just had to go into service and click rear over to something that said normal (I just dont recall the exact wording) and they inflated back to normal without driving.

It would be good if they created a shortcut for loading (for me its a golf cart) in the bed...

I was able to reinflate without moving the truck, wonder about the "damage" if just squatting there and not moving?

I was interested in this to dump a load of gravel but after all the considerations with bump stops and linkage angles this seems unwise. I bet you are not even supposed to deflate unless the truck is jacked up. Unfortunate.

Here's how to squat your Cybertruck using Deflate suspension mode:

I got mine stuck in squat after exiting service. Tried driving a short distance, and a couple of soft resets, no joy. What fixed it was going back to service mode, then deflating the fronts so it was level, then in service mode switching to "Normal UI, Leveling Available". Then it inflated everything back up to high. Then I exited service mode and was able to set ride height back to Entry. I don't know if every step in that sequence is needed, but that resolved it for me.

Are we to assume you don’t advise using this method to achieve squat? Asking for a friend. 😋

TLDR? - Read the bold for what you'd get from keeping rear on entry and front on Extract.

I would think Tesla could allow us to go from low to high in the front for loading. We may not need the full squat on a deflated air bag. Having the bed angled down might help loading. Though, I don't think it would be much of a difference.

The triangle (LOL) that is formed using Bed top when truck is low as one side, the height difference at the front wheel from low to Extract as the short side (7.5"). How much angle would you get?

Well, 143" wheelbase and 7.5" raise = 3.162 degrees of change.

So, a tailgate that is angled down 3.162 degrees will be 3.9775" closer to the ground.

That's something, at least. So, instead of it being 31" to step into, it'll be 27"

Well, I was hoping for a lower step-in. Guess that's where my new grab handles come into play! (If I remember to use them)
