A different type of Cyberbrite review - on stainless railing

Let me preface with this: I live a few miles from Starbase, Tx on a hypersaline body of water known as the Laguna Madre. This environment is absolutely brutal for metal.

I was given a bottle of Cyberbrite (from @CYBERBRITE1) to test on my railing which is manufactured by Viewrail and is made of 2205 Duplex stainless steel.

this railing has been up for 4 years with only the occasional cleaning w/ water. If your truck ever looks this rough, I’m impressed.

I applied the Cyberbrite in the same way recommended on our Cybertrucks. Wet towel with product and wipe on. It’s impossible to get this railing out of the sun so I did this on a cloudy day. It was hot and humid because it’s April.

I did two applications of 10 mins each then hosed off and wiped dry with a terry cloth.
The images speak for themselves. I think with another treatment I will have it back to new but I’m not in a rush as more testing to come.

I taped off a section for a before and after test as I find those helpful.

TLDR:. I recommend this to anyone who has a stainless item they need cleaned. I think this is a far better solution than BKF to the problem of cyberstains

Also, if you need some durable railing after 4yrs I fully recommend Viewrail.

I hate to think our trucks would look like that after 4 years of non washing. we had the same stainless handrail at our previous residence in Nassau Bay Texas. You live in South Padre Island, is that right? on the bay side?

Yep, I’m on the bay side.

hoping to get the “ok” for a shop so I can have more garage space. CT is living outside until then. The climate down here is impressively harsh.

Mr. Car Crazy, Did you get to watch the SpaceX flight 12 launch? We are planning to drive down to watch a launch when they get more reliable. We used to go to SPI for windsurfing once a year.

I did! The day before the launch, when they scrubbed it I was flying down 100 to get home in time…for the cancellation. Lol.

Actual launch day I was here in time.

I recommend trying to come see one where they plan to return to the launch pad. The launches are cool but the return is mind blowing.
