I'm thinking that I am in fact the Guinea pig. Well, maybe that will motivate Paradox to do a perfect job with my wheels! For sure, I will keep you posted on the order, delivery and inspection of these rims.

I’ve had my eye on them, but I don’t want to be the first i
That is very compelling. I am digging into the wheel specs for the Cybertruck, so I can send an inquiry to the seller to make sure they will fit. They offer tons of color choices as well!! Ill probably go satin black, but bronze or Gold are compelling too!

I've found all of this so far
18x9
Offset -------------not sure seems 40 or 45 are the spec. I am guessing 40 lets you run bigger tires, but gets more fender protrusion
Factory Wheel and Lug Specifications:
Bolt Pattern (PCD): 6x139.7 mm (6x5.5")
Offset: +58.5 mm (ET58.5)
Lug Nut Size: 14x1.50 Thread
Lug Nut Torque: 151 lb-ft (
Center Bore: 84mm

There are not many 18" aluminum cast or flow formed wheels out there to chose from. Yes, I'm aware there are many forged wheels but I prefer not to spend 8-10% the value of the SAWD on new wheels. I've had my eye on a few of the Method wheels but I'm not excited about the 18mm offset, which would push the wheels out 1.4" from stock.

I found the same vendor (Paradox) on eBay and they list the specs as follows:

6061-T6 Forged Construction
SIZE: 18x9
ET: +40mm (0.6" further out over stock)
PCD: 5x5.5 (not correct for the CT, should be 6x5.5)
CB: 84.1mm
Monoblock design
Armored for offroad use (what does this mean?)
Aerodynamically optimized for max range
Color Glossy black, matte black, matte silver, gunmetal.
Load: 2645lbs each
Weight: 20" - 34lbs (18" weight not listed)
$500 each shipped (of course more than directly from Alibaba)

Another member posted a link to some wheels from Ali. I’ve talked to a vendor on there. I’ve found 2 wheel designs I’m choosing between. One looks like the paradox, and another has a very unique design I haven’t seen before. They are also willing to do custom center caps for me. The caps are floating so the logo is always upright.
they said the all in cost for 4 shipped to FL is around $1250.
the center cap is the photo is not what I’ll use.

My Paradox wheels should be here in June. I'll post pictures and comments. I paid a bit more than directly from Alibaba so that I have someone to talk to if any issues arise. Cheap insurance, I think.

I just ordered a set of 18" armored rims from Paradox by Design.

Derrek Khajavi is the owner and is very good with communications. The delivery is set for 8 weeks, maybe because I ordered the flat silver which might be uncommon.

These are made in Utah and the writeup sounds perfect to me; lightweight forged aluminum with beefed-up beads, lots of focus on aerodynamics and balance, and to me they look great!

Just wondering if anyone has experience with these or am I the guineapig!!

OK, I received my wheels today! A quick story first. I posted in late March that I had ordered these Paradox wheels hoping to hear from someone else's experience. Well, the forum immune system kicked in and my post was deleted because they thought I was a shill for Paradox. I wrote them explaining my honest post and they re-instated it.
Now I'm posting again, this time with pictures of the wheels I received. I live in New Mexico, I am almost 73 and I am not promoting anything or anyone. I just want to share, which is after all the purpose of a forum. So, if you jump on me for sharing, up yours!
BTW, I don't have my base AWD cybertruck yet, and I originally was hoping to receive my new truck about the same time these wheels came in....HA! So off they go to my storage unit until my truck arrives.
The wheels are beautiful, almost jewel-like. I could not find a single flaw in the machining or the finish. I went with the 18's because the tires will protect the rims from curb rash and they are lightweight and aerodynamic.

Wow. You even got the logo? I think you got your set earlier than the original manufacturer. Looks great! Not sure how anyone is going to sell wheels going forward. China would just copy it and sell it for 1/3 of their MSRP.

I'll be interested to see how hose look mounted up. You should take some photos of them, and ask ChatGPT to put them on a Cybertruck, with whatever tires you're going with.
I had planed on going with Falken Wildpeaks, but I've read that Toyo Open country's are 10 lbs lighter. The wheels I ordered from China are lighter than the stock steelies, so I am hopeful if I go with the Toyo's maybe I wont kill range too much.
One advantage of going directly with a Chinese manufacturer, is you can get custom stuff done. I got a custom center cap that they helped me design, and I got bead set knurling, similar to what the high end wheel mans use. Its not a bead lock, but it should help the tire stay seated when I air down for off road. I'm just thinking beach week, not anything too aggressive, but I done want to be a meme either.

Timely update as I was searching and found their website today. I am looking at replacing my wheels and like the look of these and similarly designed wheels elsewhere and seems like not many have tried them yet.
