Was able to get a no brainer deal.
Last chance to transfer FSD
Better Truck
Better Warranty by far

That I moved to the new CT
So basically cost me less than 6,000 excluding the Terrestrial Armor as I said No brainer.
Amazed they proposed $70,900 as trade in. You had a Foundation series 24 AWD, correct?

Tempted…

What improvements have you noticed on the 26?

The trade-in quote expired because it took so long to get through production and transit that it was $1500 more before.
The big one I mentioned is that the friggin wireless phone chargers, actually work with an iPhone 17 Pro Max and an iPhone 17 Pro
It runs quieter, almost no motor whining
A few minor cosmetic changes from the foundation series. Basic accelerator panels, not stainless. Lower portion of the center console it’s all black instead of black black stripes over stainless. Frankly, I think it looks much cleaner.
The seemed a little tighter build and more refined in some unidentifiable way. Maybe because it has around 400 miles on it.😉
I do love the factory installed Terrestrial Armor. Looks great.

The motors whining does get annoying, especially around 25mph where it’s the worst for me.

Quieter could be coming from the tires being new. The AT of the AWS do get noisy quickly with wear and tear. Mine only have 13k miles but I can hear them more now than when new.

Enjoy!

I've been reading the threads on the Cybertruck phone charger, which is actually a phone heater for many of us, for several years and realized that no one is coming to save us. The Qi charger standard depends on exact placement of the phone within about 1mm to align the coils and the only way to do that is with either an LED feedback mechanism or with a magnetic alignment device. The Cybertruck contains neither. Since an LED light feedback mechanism would fail with the first acceleration or or turn, that leaves only a magnetic lock. I've seen several DIY solutions in this thread where the 3d files were nowhere to be found or designed for large bed printers and one from a commercial website (twraps.com) for $100, so I decided to make my own. I've uploaded the STL file to Thingiverse and you can download and print it for free. The extra parts on Amazon are $31 for the magnetic chargers and if you wish you can add a Y-cable and silicone pad for about $20 more but they are optional.

I don’t mind the motor whine. Actually, kinda like it. It’s not very loud on mine so maybe it’s louder on others?
Me either. It's much quieter than some other brand's EV's which having very loud, intentional, whirring to alert pedestrians. I thought the whine in our Cybertuck's was intentional too, until I read these posts about it.

Thanks for this, I’ve been slowing getting more and more fed up with this.

Can you post a link to the chargers you used?

Edit: Nevermind, I see the chargers are linked on the thingiverse link.
