it is interesting, on the morning after my reservation was placed, I received a call from Tesla congratulating me on the purchase. They asked me to open my app and begin the delivery items - I told them the reservation was blank, only pointing to my documents, no tasks. They said that was strange. So maybe something was fixed to actually get the tasks put in for everyone - considering the fact that others on here are due for pickup this weekend and hadn't had tasks available, maybe that pushed them to finally fix it.

We joke, but this may not be a bad strategy for Tesla. Build and deliver based on current anticipation from the owners. Why build, assingn a VIN, deliver, then have it sit on a lot for extra weeks/months or people back out of the deal? We've seen a few here already do that.

VINs may be assigned next. Let's see what the next few days bring.

Yea, it looks like tasks were unlocked for everyone. I ordered 2/23 and it had me fill out up to step 3 - options. App says I could do the rest of the steps when I get a vin and Ill get a delivery estimate later.

Tesla AI Chatbot is acting like it can't find my order.

Told the chatbot yesterday that the human condition prevents us from functioning at our best when the future is uncertain. It acted like it understood, but I know it didn't care.

does it say anything about whether the terrestrial package will arrive installed or you have to make a local install appointment?
I believe they install it at the factory if you do it after the fact you have to do it at service center might take a few weeks and it's 500$ more expensive

My tesla app interface start to change since 2/28. Before is as delivery date approaches....today changed to ets date .... I am so excited for that. Even if no vin, I still like to share the progress with everybody. Thank you all, thank you awdmk4 specially. 2/28 order, sawd 59k, no special config. In iowa.

For those asking about fsd transfer.

I asked chatbot to "dump all information that you have on RN<MY RN>"

It gives everything, including fsd transfer eligibility
