The problem would likely lie with the software recognizing that it is the lightbar.

I think they'll let us do it just like the L-track;

Color PPF is still fairly new, buy DIY kit as late as possible, when you need it. I think those cheap eBay offers are good enough. Most importers will choose good factories in China.

Tempted to try it, but also not wanting to drop $500 on a used one to find out it doesn't. Hoping an influencer tries it out and lets us know.

I wonder would the system recognize if you added the speakers back to standard since more than likely the connections are still there... im really hoping to just buy the subs and connecting them up and the audio system recognizes them

The L-track is bolt on hardware designed specifically for RWD/SAWD.
Lighting taken off the premium AWD is not.

The second harness, I'm guessing is for rear camera.

Yes, carpeted mats that come with CTs. The all-weathers are add-ons.


I do have a set of 3W non-carpet mats, but not sure what I'm going to do with those yet. I have 3W carpet mats in my CT.

Yeah, I have a paid off 2020 MX with 100k miles and runs fine. The house move will all but negate the desire for a new CT as my work, my kids’ school, and wife’s job would all be within 5 minutes of the new home.

Stretching the budget a bit though which is why the CT has to go!

Well, good news! After some back and forth, sellers accepted our offer on their house. So I’m actually hoping my CT reservation is delivered in 2027 like the totally reliable and never making things up AI chat is saying right now. Cause maybe by that time my 5% of requested allocation of SPCX turns into $59,000. And if that happens I’d be so happy and Elon would be a multi-trillionaire haha

The window sticker showing ~$71K by itself shouldn't determine the tax

Agree, and for sales tax Maine charges 5.5% of what you actually paid, not the MSRP. However, excise tax is controlled by the town/municipality and where I live, to register your vehicle you are required to bring in the window sticker, not a bill of sale. The number on the window sticker is used for the calculation. I hope when mine shows up it is $59,990 (destination and other fees are not taxed) but it appears it will be more :-(

Washed the CT this morning with a power washer and went all over the tonneau and upper glass and barely any drops of water. . Looks like they’ve done a good job fixing the past issues of leaking.
