Incident: I parked a stall away from another CT hoping that the Macy parking area would be more quiet but the other CT owner managed to reverse into my CT.

Fortunately no damage however My CT stainless steel panel took a chunk out of his plastic fender.

How could you even hit my damn car when it has the same sensors as mine. Not even FSD can save that driver jesus christ. Guy has a 1 inch Ganesh statue on his dash. I guess the driver was indian and the dash cam was correct. Shouldnt be too hard to locate this guy.

Dont be like this ass hat. At the very least leave a contact number and an apology note.

Nice impersonation of someone in their 90's attempting to navigate a parking lot. Makes a strong case for FSD being mandatory for certain individuals.

Another question: why on earth is this idiot trying to back out of this parking spot when he can simply drive forward?

It was an accident and you have no damage. I get it's frustrating but I don't see how this type of public shaming and name calling is necessary on this one.
You can't be serious dude...that sociopath basically did a hit and run - but somehow it's more important to call out the victim? SMH...

File with your insurance and they will locate him. I'd have it check out just in case, you never know when something hidden could be cracked.

His insurance rate is going to triple at best for hitting and running. People like that deserve to permanently lose their license.

Lmao...I saw his car on the highway in Anaheim and briefed him of his hit and run. His wife was pissed. 🤣

Pissed at you for holding him accountable, or at him for being a douche?

I'm going to give a little counter story.... from my own experience. Shame on me for not knowing any better I guess, but now that I do, I think if I get in a situation like this with no damage, I am going to leave w/o a note as well. This happened with vehicle before CT.

I went to a baseball game and some kids ran out in front of me while parking and swerved and tapped a car. All I did was crack their tail light. I chastised myself, parked, put a note on the car with my number and told them I would take care of it.

After the game the person got my note and called me. I told them I was sorry and I would take care of the repairs and just send me the invoice. Well she decided to go through insurance (for $280 repair which was higher than it needed to be on this beat up honda civic). So long story short, I get charged with a hit and run and my insurance goes up like crazy for the next 3 years costing me >$2K in additional insurance premiums... So much for leaving a note... Never doing that again.

If its bad enough that there is legit damage, I will call the police on myself and get a report so I don't get charged with leaving the scene etc. So I advise anyone against "leaving a note"...
