  1. Need to double charger network

If they manage to ramp up production, to keep up with demand, then it’s an easy yes.
  2. At this point, we need a list of all the broken promises! šŸ˜‰

We haven’t ā€œseenā€ confirmation for a lot of the things that were showcased during the reveal which we haven’t seen in action recently. We’re all deducing based on observations of the prototypes. There hasn’t been an official statement saying the mid-front seat or sail storage are gone, etc...
  3. Jailbreak Tesla

Tbh, I don’t know if the modding of a ā€œsmartā€ car (akin to a smart phone), such as a Tesla, is considered illegal. What is an issue is Tesla locking people out of using superchargers if they jailbreak their Tesla. As for the bricking, it’s not necessary something done by Tesla, it’s just a...
  4. At this point, we need a list of all the broken promises! šŸ˜‰

It was showcased as a feature during the CT reveal. ??ā€ā™‚ļø
  5. At this point, we need a list of all the broken promises! šŸ˜‰

This! I don’t know what caring owner would put their dog in the bed of a truck. If they crash the pup is at greater danger being on the bed. There’s also the possibility of the dog getting loose of its restraints and jumping off the bed.
  6. At this point, we need a list of all the broken promises! šŸ˜‰

Driver’s display was never a thing. It was never announced with it and the only time we saw it was in a prototype and Tesla never said ā€œOh look, it’ll come with this displayā€. They also never highlighted that feature. People just sneakily took photos of a prototype that had it. Midgate was...
  7. Jailbreak Tesla

The issue with Teslas is that even if the car is not bricked with the jailbreak, Tesla could lock the vehicle out of using their superchargers if they detect it’s jailbroken….that would suck big time if you don’t have the ability to charge at home and if you travel long distances. At that point...
  8. Not a good look for Tesla: diversion team tactics to deal with range complaints

This is an excellent point, Crissa. I tend to have ā€œhonest talksā€ with friends who ask me about my Model 3 and I often say that the advertised range is not realistic because no one wants to drive at the exact speed limit, without the A/C on, music off, not charging one’s phone, avoiding...
  9. Cybertruck specs and pricing announcement when?

Anyone answering your questions here would just be speculating, the only people who know those details are people close to the project. Not even Musk can be relied on for factual info, just check his track record of false promises. Yes, every now and then he gets within arms reach of the actual...
  10. 350 mile range Quad Motor rumored to be 1st trim launched

Exactly this! Especially when it was touted as a be-all, do-all utility truck and towing is factored in.
  11. 350 mile range Quad Motor rumored to be 1st trim launched

    15% of $69,990 is $10,498.50, which would put it at $80,488.50…..so not ā€œjust under $80k,ā€ more like ā€œjust OVER $80k.ā€ /pedantry
  12. Anyone concerned about the sunlight and heat build up under the large windshield surface?

Exactly! I have family in AZ, once I get the CT I’ll have to drive there when I visit to test this out. Speaking of AZ, the super charger infrastructure there is extremely lacking, I was very disappointed. This was 2 years ago though, not sure if things have changed by now.
  13. Anyone concerned about the sunlight and heat build up under the large windshield surface?

I’m worried about as much as I was worried before and after purchasing a Model 3, aka not worried at all. I’m more concerned about the body of the CT getting super hot to the touch during sun exposure. Because of this, I’m glad it’ll have the auto-presenting doors.
  14. What concept cars would you skip CT for?

Either of these two. Honda EVN concept or Hyundai N Vision 74. I have a weird (and all over the place) taste in cars. But tbh, neither of these would keep me from buying the CT, I would still get one of these AND the CT. Although if I had to choose between the CT and one of these, I’d probably...
  15. Year One.

I’m here for the mighty BAW reference. ????ā€ā™‚ļø????ā€ā™‚ļø
  16. Mobile Starlink for Cybertruck?

This is a great idea. Hopefully it’s implemented.
  17. Fingerprint reader / scanner spotted on prototype?

LED light indicator to show where to press? I highly doubt it’s a fingerprint reader. I want to be wrong though as that would be pretty cool to have.
