The original covers make the wheels appear to be 24" in diameter which looks awesome, it's just they look plastic and cheap and I would never have run them myself even if they came with the truck.
I went Tsportline 24s and am very happy I did. Although I am not a fan of Tsportline as a company...
That's cool, you're happy with the AWD.
The Beast was made for people who want the faster vehicle. That's it. If you're happy with the slow version, cool... I wouldn't be happy with it though..but does that matter?
That's why they make different versions. It's also why there's Motel 6 and a...
It's a big difference, trust me.
Have you been in a vehicle that does 0-60 in 2.6 seconds before?
The part throttle power when normally accelerating is a huge difference over the AWD as well. There's just so much torque in the triple motor vs dual motors it's extremely noticable, not even...
Damn if you think that's fast you need to drive in a Beast. It's much, much faster than the AWD. I drove an AWD few months back and it's not even comparable.
My recommendation would actually be to *not* drive the Beast, because your perception of the AWD would be tainted forever so don't ruin...
I'd be more upset with the loss in value of your shares over the last couple of years since Elon decided to liquidate so much Tesla stock to purchase Twitter.
Not to mention spending so much time dealing with the company (and tweeting) while he put Tesla on the back burner. I'm sure your truck...
Honestly it's not a huge deal to me since I live in Socal, so wipers are rarely used. But every other car I've ever owned has worked perfectly when it comes to wipers and parking sensors too.
But in the end, I love my Beast and although the wipers and parking sensors were great on my last...
That's all true and that's great they created FSD, but let's call it what it is, if you can make a car drive on its own, you should be able to make windshield wipers operate correctly at this point.
I love my CT, it's my 6th Tesla. I've owned one of the first Model S in 2012.
I'm just a realist and don't sugar coat things. I am not a Tesla or Elon fanboy although I love Tesla, which is why I have a Model Y Performance and a Cyberbeast
Read my comments in my profile. I love my truck. But...
Yeah - it's a car thing, but requires the most basic tech that other companies use to function. Literally the most basic tech is what Tesla seems to be worse at.
One day, Tesla will finally be able to do what cars have been able to do for decades.... Have functioning windshield wipers, and get this - automatic wipers that actually work.
For a company that claims to be a "tech" company and not a car company (that's hilarious to me) they certainly have...
Since wrapping and installing new wheels, all positive. Most comments are "so much better than how they come" and "only Cybertruck I've seen I like" etc etc.
I think it's the stainless steel and terrible looking stock wheels and tires that really does the truck a disservice and gives polarizing...
I personally don't think the Apillar is an issue at all. I'm used to driving cars with low visibility, so I use common sense to always know what's around my vehicle. Use your head, literally, just move your dome around and you'll see just fine. I have zero complaints.
Adjust your seat higher...
Based on the terrible range I get in my CT, I have no idea how this could work for business or police use. Unless they place donut stores at every supercharger so they can take a 1 hour break twice per shift lol
I thought you made a mistake and I checked. Wtf? $22k for those wheels? That's insane! I thought what I paid for my Tsportline CT7s were pricey, but UP is smoking crack selling wheels for that price. And imo, they don't even look that cool. Total joke. I bet they sell 0 sets of them.
Dude the metal panels looked like complete crap from the day I picked it up. Tesla didnt go with appliance grade stainless, that's for sure.
If you think dirtied up stainless with irregular colors, textures, imperfections, pitting, fingerprints etc looks good then a nice uniform colored PPF...
I had a 2023 Model X Plaid, so I can tell you a few things. The truck feels very solid and somewhat more refined then the Model X. Mostly due to the ambient lighting at night, better steering wheel (and button turn signals which is better!), better stereo system, less road noise, and the...
It's PPF which lasts a lot longer.
To each their own, but the stainless was pretty terrible. Couldn't get it clean, inconsistent looking colored panels, fingerprints etc. the stock wheels look like something from an old 1990s vehicle, not a $100-120K truck. There's so many basic stainless...
I took delivery of my best on March 29th, configured on 12/20.
Let me tell you this, it's totally worth the wait. Be glad you didn't settle for the slower AWD version, this thing has INSANE power. Not just floored/full throttle - part throttle it has so much torque just driving around town...
The wrapped ones will get the more positive reactions though. When it was stainless (which was only a couple of times I drove it) I think people were more critical of it since so many people don't like that look. The majority of the CTs I see are stainless, so they look pretty dirty and not...
