  1. The Tesla Cybertruck Isn’t A Pickup — It’s Much, Much More

This truck appears to be everything I hoped and dreamed it would be. I plan on renting it out perhaps on Turo to pay it off and then some. As an 81 y/o female at 5’2” I just hope the seat moves down enough for me to reach the pedals and still see out the front if it doesn’t have fsd by the time...
  2. "Ultra-hard steel" patent filed for Cybertruck

This will only add to the appeal and worth of CT that I am so looking forward to!
  3. Poll: How many preorders will turn into orders?

I'm 79 and just like trucks plus I'm planning on renting it out to help pay it off. i may want something smaller too depending on what Tesla comes up with in the next few years.
  4. Configurations and Pricing Removed From Cybertruck Website!

I think they will change the pricing since they left that open on the order sheet but I hope by not too much since I've been saving hard for it! I'm with you in hoping to see something soon!
  5. About Delivery

    That's what I'm expecting!
  6. Delivery formula

Depending how many CT's fit on a carrier truck I think they will try to coordinate deliveries so they aren't running hither and yawn based on where you're at in line. Sort of a first in first out kind of scenario.
  7. The Cyber Truck may pay for itself.

It would be great if that is the case. I live in Santa Fe, NM and rarely need air conditioning plus I have roof solar which covers my electrical needs. Selling my Cybertruck electricity would be fine with me although I do plan on renting out my CT when I'm not using it. Not sure how that would...
  8. Tesla gets patent for LASER wipers.....

i can't imagine traveling 70 miles per hour in a downpour! Laser windshield wipers sounds pretty cool to me though.
  9. Need Opinion

Sorry, ME is a totally different eco climate system and has not been as fire prone as the dry, arid west. There was an early period of fire suppression (recall the comic “Smokey the Bear of the 1950’s). Then more recently the efforts of clearing the debris off the forest floor especially...
  10. Solar DC input for charging Cybertruck from trailer panels

I’m thinking that any technical issues are solvable and also this retired person is not going to be driving daily. You have to stop to see the sights you know, which is also time to recharge batteries. Even the trip into Alice has plenty worthy to stop and see! My concern would be around...
  11. Converting Tesla Semi into a Recreational Vehicle.

Nice concept and originally I was looking for something like your design. That said, along came the CT and there are just so many fantastic features that I will be using my CyberTruck as a camping vehicle instead. I’m hoping that there is a passageway from cab to bed so it can be totally...
  12. full steering wheel?

Quite.honestly, we all can get used to just about anything even if it’s not our preference.
  13. Cybertruck validation testing coming soon?

QUESTION: Can I upgrade my previous pre-order from single to double engine CT? If so, how do I do that? Thanks!
  14. Need Opinion

I’m in the same position but have decided against an M3 purchase because we’re too close to a major battery upgrade and don’t want to chance putting money out on a soon to be upgrade. I did put some money in Tesla stock but will need to find a place to park a substantial amount. Like you I...
