  1. The Cyber Truck may pay for itself.

What's the useful charge on batteries without limiting use during outage if solar, considering the need to charge cars etc, nighttime, inclement weather etc. seems in every disaster, diesel generators are hauled in for emergency power, not batteries.
  2. The Cyber Truck may pay for itself.

Actually, I'm at the end of a 187 mile run according to the OG&E supervisor. When the doofus hits the power pole here, everyone downline gets knocked out. That's why I have a natural gas standby generator. Happens all the time. Lots of Doofi (or is that Doofuses) tooling around out there.
  3. Reservation order integrity

Exactly! And "end of year" ....even next year, smells a lot like "in a month or so" in 'Elon-speak'. I'm in this for the long haul, and keeping the Roadster and the semi in mind. Nothing surprises me nor gets me flustered. Remember, I'm the proud owner of BD5D-335 and was just waiting for it...
  4. The Cyber Truck may pay for itself.

Was that one of those "rolling (planned) blackouts" we hear about out here? Ours are all unplanned, usually weather related or when some doofus hits a utility pole.
  5. Updated CyberTruck to be shown in a month or so AFTER WE GET THE 8000 TON CASTING MACHINE RUNNING!

The Roadster still may beat the CT to production. Let's see, if I double my existing orders and everyone else adds as many as I do to theirs, that ought to peak Elon's interest in getting them beyond the "hamster-in-wheel" stage. The secret is why they are so far behind. How many hamsters does...
  6. Updated CyberTruck to be shown in a month or so AFTER WE GET THE 8000 TON CASTING MACHINE RUNNING!

This one year setback may be the first in a series. I keep eyeballing the Roadster. I keep thinking those guys deserve theirs before we deserve our CTs, not that we actually deserve anything. Maybe if we each order a couple of them the CT line will come around quicker?
  7. Fiery deaths?

Thanks. Same here, but I don't stop on a schedule. I take my medication and stop as needed.
  8. Fiery deaths?

    Which bags might those be?
  9. Fiery deaths?

My condition isn't narcolepsy. I don't require a driver. All but one of my accidents were prior to my diagnosis. The one that was after was during a night of sleep deprivation due to illness and unavoidable driving. But thanks. The 'fiery crash" guys needed a driver. If FSD works for you, it...
  10. Fiery deaths?

Don't think that's the issue here. I had a resident vegan cook, and although wonderfully delicious and healthy, it was about as helpful to my sleep apnea as hugging a tree would have been. I was the only MD in my area open to alternative health practices, and it even got me in crosswise with...
  11. Giant Cybertruck silhouette starting to appear on GigaTexas factory facade

I've seen those "Bandaids" stuck on cars before. Now there's an idea! LOL
  12. Fiery deaths?

That may be too little too late if I'm veering out of the lane or at a curve. Do you mean in addition to self driving? Heck, I don't know, my hands may have fallen off the wheel. Flashing lights and a siren would work for sure!
  13. Pros/Cons of buying a CT (mostly fiscally related)

Another solution: keep the kids velcroed in the vault or simply don't have kids! LOL!
  14. Fiery deaths?

I ordered FSD on my CT as a safety backup, not knowing for sure if it would operate adequately as such. Insurance so to speak. I have sleep apnea that isn't completely treated by CPAP, and I can get drowsy driving on somewhat lengthy trips. I have fallen asleep at the wheel and had accidents...
  15. Giant Cybertruck silhouette starting to appear on GigaTexas factory facade

Did the "speed holes" increase or decrease wind resistance? Did it whistle when driven?
  16. What steering wheel would you like to see?

Read my post carefully please. I did not blame Burt Rutan for the crash. I simply stated that Burt Rutan designed the Long EZ which John Denver was flying when he crashed and died. There was not a single reference to causation or blame as to the cause of the crash. I was merely linking the...
  17. What steering wheel would you like to see?

Then there are "ordinary "S" owners, "extra-ordinary Plaid S" drivers, "ordinary would be single motor CT drivers, extra-ordinary would be dual motor CT drivers, the extra extra ordinary "would-be" tri-motor CT drivers, then the Super extra extra ordinary Plaid Super Plus quad motor CT, and...
