Here is an idea……. Create a pressure seal type washer fluid cap and run a moderate PSI regulated air pressure line to the reservoir to augment the pumps push of course with a solenoid to only boost while in use… or tie in a peristaltic pump type cam on the wiper motor to boost pressure in the line ?

I understand and would have to agree. A 17 foot kayak would be more stable if the bars were a bit more apart than what is advocated. I have no issue with keeping at what is recommended, yet knowledge of “Why” would benefit all.

Weight is a given known max. The question is why is the distribution over a larger span contra indicated? Or is it due to possible Torque issues fore to aft etc? I am curious as to the actual structural reason behind the limited mounting suggested versions.

Yes I had this happen. Service replaced the Manifold. Upon driving back home it failed again. Return trip to the SC and two days of diagnostics, the pump itself had failed. One question I had is what if there was a bladder defect that while the bladder is stationary against the SS cylinder...
I have had the same fault at least 8 times. I did take mine in for service, they replaced a component block but it still is faulting. I will return to service this Monday. Perhaps it is a leak in one of the inflatable bladders that is ok if vehicle is static, but with suspension up and down...
