Yeah, not so sure. I thought that at first, but after looking at the second angle, I think they were there as friends of the Cybertruck and were acting as a safety net/lifeguard... if you will. They were following closely and I imagine they had an agreement like "if we start floating nudge us back shallower" kinda thing going on.

They were throwing a wake at the truck, but only once it started floating, trying to push it closer to shallower water where the tires could get hold again. Not sure why the windows were left down on the CT, that seemed dumb to me, as their wake splash surely went inside the cab too... ??‍
