I really like that they did the light bar the same as the front headlight instead of the earlier renderings that were like the reverse light housings. It looks much cleaner that way and looking forward to seeing it at night.

Yes, and toggles for the 48v feed in the frunk.

They mention it in the DIY Manual:

Enabling Power to the Power Feeds
Once you have connected an accessory to a power feed, enable power from the touchscreen. Touch Controls > Outlets & Mods and then touch a power feed on the touchscreen to enable it.

According to the Service Manual, they are not permitted to hook it up or even remove the blackout tape from the front:

Note
Tesla employees are not permitted to connect or assist with the connection of the Cybertruck off road lightbar harness to the roof accessory jumper harness. You are responsible for using these instructions to complete the lightbar harness connection yourself.

Warning
Tesla employees are not permitted to remove the blackout film tape from the lightbar. Do not remove the blackout film tape from the front side of the lightbar.

Note
The Tesla Lightbar for Cybertruck is designed only for off road use. Tesla by law cannot install the lightbar electronics and configure the vehicle for lightbar control.

Ok I see that but I am curious as to the underlying rationale for hands off on the wiring etc……

INAL, but it's due to the lightbar being only for off-road use. They can't enable it or let it leave the SC without the blackout tape covering it.

However, if YOU want to enable it/uncover it, that's on you.

Similar to tint: Tesla can't tint the windshield, but you can get tint installed. Still not legal even if you do it, but Tesla doesn't control that.

Or something like that, haha!!

They kept the truck overnight to allow the urethane time to dry. The lightbar is "glued" to the glass.

Which glass... top or windshield?
