For me AWD is better. The crazy acceleration is a fun goof but it doesn't add any long term value. I get a slightly better range, lower cost and slightly lower insurance.
It's the right move. Compact and subcompact at scale is where global production needs to go. Along with infrastructure to allow EV operation for all market tiers. Maybe the CT gets developed into a family of utility vehicles at some point.
I suspect others have queried about this. Tesla EVs do large data dumps regularly. We are on a rural sattelite internet connection with limited data and I have to turn this off. I'm wondering if someone has already done trouble shooting on this. Pardon if I've missed an earlier thread.
I got some adhesive foam that is normally used for hvac type stuff. Cut with scissors. Peel and stick. Matching matte black. Easy to fix if it gets mucked up.
If your interface is purely web based and doesn't require a download and you have a reliable connection it could work I suppose. Maybe the game controller would help? But its limited. For my work I need to multi task and use a keyboard and other stuff that doesn't connect to the vehicle. Luckily...
The space where I park has a 240 v Nema 6-50 outlet that was installed to power a welder. My charge cable doesn't fit it but I've seen adapters that do. I'm curious if this is safe or is there some other variable I need to be aware of.
I'd say it also depends on your total solvency and willingness to leave a lot of money on the table. It's probably the worst time window right now. If you have another vehicle to commute with and a place to store your truck I'd wait for the news cycle to change gears. For myself I don't drive...
