  1. Leaky Window Seals

Yes, all of mine look that bad on my 2025. Did you see the posts over here: https://www.cybertruckownersclub.com/forum/threads/how-to-fix-cybertruck-window-air-leak-in-cold-weather.55620/ TLDR, the cantrail fix causes the window to be pushed out too far when rolled all the way up. I assume...
  2. How to fix Cybertruck Window Air Leak in COLD weather

I wonder if they are purposefully defective. All of mine are bulged too... front and back, both sides. My 2025 CB (came with cantrail fixed) definitely has a lot more wind noise than my 2024 did (never had cantrail fix). What I find interesting is that before I ever messed with my 2025, for...
  3. How to fix Cybertruck Window Air Leak in COLD weather

Do you happen to know the official name of the part you say is ~$10.00 that breaks all the time? Is it the "BED SIDE BAFFLE APPLIQUE"?
  4. Recommend me a car escape tool. What are the options?

I would think maybe if you can smash the side windows enough, you can probably just kick the top out and basically "fold" it down: Like this guy at 9:27: Note: I assume you would need to penetrate BOTH layers of hardened glass, so a simple tungsten tipped hammer might give you more...
  5. Recommend me a car escape tool. What are the options?

The 10 year old girl had the benefit of leverage and body position... I suspect there is a reason why there are no videos of someone cutting the windshield from INSIDE the car. They probably couldn't. That is why it is being marketed as an EXTRACTION tool, not an ESCAPE tool. Besides, isn't...
  6. Almost Burned my House Down... Thoughts / Theories?

It is also my understanding that installing a disconnect “for code” is not really so you can quickly turn it off when things go wrong… it is so that someone working on it has line-of-sight assurance that the line is not energized. That is also why some jurisdictions are apparently fine with you...
  7. Almost Burned my House Down... Thoughts / Theories?

The installation manual for the Tesla Gen 3 charger specifically states that FYI, the installation manual for the Tesla Gen 3 charger specifically states that “External disconnect switches are neither required nor recommended.” Page 9...
  8. No Safe Seat Covers (due to side air bags)?

Reading on this further, it looks like even IF the seat covers had notches on both sides, the typical design used for the notch would cause a slight delay in the deployment. This video does not make me feel all warm and fuzzy:
  9. No Safe Seat Covers (due to side air bags)?

I wasn't aware that there was an airbag on BOTH sides of the driver's seat. Guess that means that there are zero seat covers that will work for the CyberTruck?? All of the seat covers I have seen just have one notch (at best) for an airbag... never two.
  10. FSD windshield wipers go on.

I think your only choice is to press the windshield wiper button, then switch from "Auto" to "Off" each time you enable FSD. This is a common problem that has been going on for a long time.
  11. Unsupervised FSD for Cybertruck (and FU Tesla Service)

I just went out and gave it a really good examination. My new 2025 has no foam like in the video. In addition, it looks like Tesla has redone their process. They are now doing something similar to what is in the video... however, the guy in the video is basically using a u-channel type...
  12. Unsupervised FSD for Cybertruck (and FU Tesla Service)

If you watch this video and jump to about 6:55 you can see it is part of the removable appliqué
  13. Back bumper doesn’t drain

Did you ever drill the holes?
  14. Unsupervised FSD for Cybertruck (and FU Tesla Service)

That is crazy, I couldn't imagine getting fired over my car type. Especially since the political party of Tesla seems to have 180'd over the years. The regulations are nuts. There was a startup named Locomation that failed last year in the autonomous trucking sector: "Autonomous Relay Convoy"...
  15. Unsupervised FSD for Cybertruck (and FU Tesla Service)

I wonder if this part of the vehicle's assembly, when in stalled to spec, works really well. But the actual process of installing it makes it very difficult to install to spec. "Worn-out" foam strips is just silly when you are talking about a new vehicle. "A water test was conducted", lol...
  16. Unsupervised FSD for Cybertruck (and FU Tesla Service)

I just went out and took a picture of mine. This is also what I noticed on several other new ones. It is a little hard to see from the picture, but the seal is not laying in there correctly. I haven't had it apart yet, but based on the video, it just seems like it takes some time to do...
  17. Unsupervised FSD for Cybertruck (and FU Tesla Service)

My October build 2024 AWD was bone dry from the factory. My 2025 CB leaks like crazy. If I pour a cup of water, half the cup goes in the front of the bed, and the other half goes in the bottom of the bed. Same thing after the extra slat.
  18. Unsupervised FSD for Cybertruck (and FU Tesla Service)

This foam strip? I can see mine is messed up too (and a lot of trucks that were in the lot as well). I asked them to fix it while they added my extra slat. You can see if it is not laying in the slot correctly. They never touched it. I didn't press them because I planned on fixing it...
  19. Unsupervised FSD for Cybertruck (and FU Tesla Service)

    1. Maybe, but still raises interesting concerns. If you don’t see that, perhaps you are more biased. 2. Sounds like your investing skills are right up there with your being objective skillset 3. Swell for you, I owned BOTH a 2024 and 2025… 2025 had more issues. 4. Are we dating forum police...
  20. Unsupervised FSD for Cybertruck (and FU Tesla Service)

My initial concern was how I am eagerly awaiting the day when my windshield stops wiping for no reason and for my truck to stop hugging the line. I see articles like this: (5 months ago) that give me hope...
