Living in Virginia with average highs in the 90s and heat index over 100° . We haven't any issues with our 2021 Model. It is equipped with the first generation Heatpump. I was stationed at Fort Bliss Texas so understand Virginia isn't as hot as Texas or parts of Florida. I hope this helps...

Glad I purchased a Model Y for my wife back 2021. We have learned much about the ins & outs of living with an EV especially a Tesla. 31 thousand miles in less than two years has proven I was correct going with Telsa over other bands! Now I'm ready for my Cybertruck.

You are correct I ordered both single and dual motor versions 39K and 49K. Much less priced then Rivian or Hummer

40K to 50K is affordable to me. Not interested 80K plus truck. I reserved a Dual CT @ 39K. I know that might seem cheap to some but to me.

I have also ordered an Aptera. My daily commute is only six miles around trip, eight if go town to do some errands. With 30 miles Solar range I'll never have to plugin lol
