I'm not sure that real panel qualifies to call it a panel gap, that looks more like it's not attached at all. Staggering that it even got to a customer in that condition, makes me wonder what else they couldn't be bothered doing properly.
I was originally going for the AWD and definitely will not be doing Foundation series, but I'm really interested to see what the regular Beast offers over the AWD.
I was never interested in the Insane/Ludicrous/Plaid of the S or X, or even Performance on Model 3/Y. The attraction of better 0-60...
if you're just looking for something reliable, I've been through more usbkey type drives than I care to remember, all failed for some reason, probably the heat? There were maybe six or seven including decent brands like Samsung, Kingston etc.
That all changed for me when I switched from "thumb...
or you can go crazy an do one of these...

It will change how you use dashcam/sentry, pair it with https://github.com/ehendrix23/tesla_dashcam/blob/master/README.rst to get easier to use footage
I have this setup, no more sneaker net for me.
Just talking about it from Tesla's perspective - The current CCS adapter has only recently become available and given the effort they put into getting all the US car and charger manufacturers to switch away from CCS->NACS they will be expecting almost zero CCS to exist before Cybertruck is...
Looking at plugshare there are a very short list of "out of the way places" that only have CCS.
So the concern here is that one of the tiny number of Cybertrucks wants to go somewhere that only has CCS and nothing else.
Hardly a huge concern unless you happen to be that guy. But if you don't...
Just to point out that if you’re really stuck the regular J1772 adapter works and is waaay more common than CCS or NACS
Hardly seems worth making this a drop everything and fix it given the small number of CTs on the road and the even smaller number that this will affect.
Thinking about it some more. Changes in battery tech will need to be significant to warrant building a new pack for an old car.
So while it may sound attractive, the chances aren’t good that it would ever happen
We haven't seen any battery technology "upgrade" appear for anything but the original roadster so far. The oldest model is the S and the new cars are still using 18650 cells.
Not saying that means it never will, but by the time the battery tech moves on the demand for upgrading is really low...
Not concerned in the slightest, I've been driving my Tesla for over five years and no more concerned than I was when I bought it.
But if this is a real question and not just a "OMG THIS IS TERRIBLE" type post, I'd be much more concerned about my mobile phone and the app installed on it.
Or...
Right - not paying Chamberlain for them to keep finding new ways to make me pay more for something the others offer for free.
It would be surprising for Cybertruck to not offer Homelink.
That used to be my family.
Then we did our Santa Fe trip - what an eye opener!
Arrive at your charge stop, jump out, plug in. After bio breaks, its wandering around the shops, chatting to other owners etc, getting food/snack until the car messages you to say its time to leave.
Next stop is...
Staying in locations that provide charging is huge. As is stopping at the superchargers that are in interesting locations to let family linger and explore. The stops are intentional, not just splash and go :)
EV roadtripping is a completely different experience.
Just checked some earlier roadtrips in our Model 3. Thankfully TeslaFi pulls the invoices from Tesla so I now have actual prices.
SantaFe round trip - 1800 miles $41 supercharging. Several free hotel stops over a week.
Texas 550 mile weekend in 2021 - $25, a couple of freebies at some point...
I can't get 37mpg with our Honda CRV at any point, combine that with really low gas prices thats pretty impressive for a minivan.
Hardly any point being surprised that a full size pickup truck uses more energy though ;)
We also have a different definition of "Road Trip"
Mine is a relaxing...
