So, I haven’t been following the FSD chatter. It says that the FS has the capability, but not that it’s actually included. Can someone please shed some light on this? My understanding of this, was that it was included.
Sorry, I guess I should give a little more context. I am from California and a friend is doing a Grand Reopening of their Business in Houston, so I’m heading there for support. I also have a friend that lives in Weatherford, so I figured I could possibly kill 2 birds with one stone. Then there’s...
So, this is my first post, “longtime” lurker, like a few months tops. I am going to Texas (Houston, and Weatherford) to visit some friend's on June 1st, and hopefully fit in some sightseeing at the Gigafactory the day before. I ordered a CyberBeast on March 5th, and I hope the delivery date is...
It’s interesting that you posted this. I saw, don’t ask me how it popped up on my YouTube “feed,” about a month ago, with similar, if not the same issue. He was able to figure it out. I will try to find it on YouTube again and send you the link. It was actually a simple fix once he figured it...
I echo that ? and get names and times. You can never be too sure. Document, that way if there is an issue in the future, you have documentation to backup your statements. It may seem excessive, but it may have an effect on a hot item in the future, and that would suck.
There have been quite a few installments with no issues. I would recommend another shop for installments. It is tough, but it can be done. If you are in California, try OC Detailing. Check out their website and YouTube. They talk about it extensively. Good luck.
No real “Source,” and I get what you’re saying. That’s the reason why I asked about “connection points.” How are they going to get from the Extender, to the connection points? If they’re going to route it under the bed to the connection point, which I hope they will, then we’re fine. But if it...
The reason why I asked is, the extender is going to essentially limit what can be done in the vault/bed of the truck. It is going to use up everything but the part of the bed rearward of the service port, which isn’t much, maybe a foot or two with the tailgate open. And since the bed is angled...
My question is… where are the “hookups” for the range extender? Is it where the extra storage space is, near the back of the bed, underneath that? I don’t see where they’re going to hook up the extender. Can someone who already has a Cybertruck see any place where it’s possible? Just curious...
This is going to be really cool. I was hoping they were going to make good use of the sails also. I hope you will be able to somehow tap into the Extended Range Battery, but that’s probably going to be near impossible, but there are outlets int the bed… hope it goes well for you. Merry Christmas...
I have Officially given up hope on the Foundation. It’s like Tesla is dancing all around me, taunting and teasing me. ? Congrats to all those who have received their Invitations and orders.
One thing that doesn't seem to be taken into consideration...Tesla had to Invent/create, and I am using the words loosely, a whole lot of new processes to bring this Truck to market. They have to take into account the Giga-Press cost, the process of making the new steel that was created for this...
