  1. Magnetic Wrap Over Existing Vinyl Wrap! [CybertruckCovers]

Ugh...I just spent countless hours removing protectaclear from my truck since I couldn't get a good finish on it. But I can say, that stuff is durable!!!
  2. Magnetic Wrap Over Existing Vinyl Wrap! [CybertruckCovers]

This looks interesting, but am I correct that the maintenance instructions recommend removing the wrap within 2 days of getting wet with rain or washing to allow drying under the wrap? That sounds like a lot of work if that is the case
  3. What would it take to make Tesla move on from the Cybertruck?

I see why fords are up, they have their base price down to 57k after their 8k cash incentives. That would get the Cybertruck moving too. Don’t even think that includes any tax incentives
  4. What would it take to make Tesla move on from the Cybertruck?

I know people are saying it may be a flop, but they sold almost 40K $100,000+ trucks in the first year of production. It is not even available in most other countries yet. I think that is far from failure. They need to keep working to bring the price down and over the next couple years as...
  5. Core Wheels-CyberWheel Cover Compatibility?

Agree, just changed my winter RTs to back to the ATs it came with. When I popped the wheel covers off every rim has the finished damaged. Luckily I have two sets of rims so I am not going to be putting the covers on again until next winter when the RTs go back on.
  6. Share your FSD 13.2.1 experiences - Good & Bad

Just drove mine 181 miles down the highway, through mountain curvy roads in the rain and I didn't do a thing except pull out of my driveway and activate FSD. The truck did great. Kept distances well, slowed in reasonable time for slowing cars in front. Handled the mountain curves like a...
  7. Winter trip into Yellowstone w/ Blizzak Tires

What blizzak tire size are you using? I am using the duratrac RTs, but not sure how they are going to perform. Heading to the mountain to ski on Christmas, so will find out then. But, blizzak I know handle well in the snow and ice.
  8. Filing down sharp edges?

You definitely don’t need a power tool to do this. It is easy by hand
  9. Filing down sharp edges?

I just used a metal file. Doesn’t take much to take off the sharpness. Takes about 5 seconds per area in all honesty. If they haven’t improved the edges, I definitely would recommend checking yours. Mine definitely had some that would get you, but mine is an early model
  10. Cybertruck now available as INVENTORY on Tesla site!

Looks like whatever was available is now gone...didn't take long
  11. OEM Crossbars for Cybertruck now available. Reveals difference between Foundation & non-Foundation Series

I grabbed 2 sets as well. Been waiting for this for carrying longer lumber. Price seems pretty on par with aftermarket
  12. Finger slammed door

Just curious about this. My daughter slammed her finger in another car door the other day and we were wondering how the cyber truck would operate in this situation since it draws the door in. I can see how it will cut you, but did the door stop closing? Sounds like it must have not drawn all...
  13. Recall: Drive Inverter Failures on 2024 Cybertrucks Produced 11/6/23 – 7/30/24 (Affects 2,431 vehicles)

they just replaced the rear only, but the recall wasn't issued yet. I am going to take it in next week to have them fix the gear shifter trim that keeps coming loose, so curious to see if they change the front inverter as well. I haven't heard of any of the front ones failing though. Not...
  14. Recall: Drive Inverter Failures on 2024 Cybertrucks Produced 11/6/23 – 7/30/24 (Affects 2,431 vehicles)

Just had mine replaced, it was super easy. I have a Tesla close by though. Made an appointment on the app which was for Nov 26, but messaged the service team after the appointment was made using the App. They said to just bring the truck in. I took it in the next day, they gave me a X to...
  15. Tesla OEM winter wheel package and wheel covers installed on Cybertruck

I am not really a fan of the tires as far as how they ride and handle, but hopefully their winter performance justifies them. The original AT tire drives much nicer in my opinion. I am half temped to take them back off until we start to see bad weather here.
  16. Cybertruck tested in Qatar’s sand dunes and performed like a beast

the stock ATs actually do really well on the sand. I ran at 20 PSI as well. I also tried higher, 25 did fine, 30 did well but I preferred the feel on the lower pressures
  17. I was bummed out to see a sea of cybertrucks in the Tesla lot south of Houston

People are always talking about this with Tesla, I don’t believe they build them unless they have been ordered. They don’t hold inventory like traditional car manufacturers. If one is sitting unsold it is typically because a buyer backed out.
  18. Tesla OEM winter wheel package and wheel covers installed on Cybertruck

We are in the Portland area, so will be running to Mt. Hood and Bachelor this winter. I did get the chains too in case I need them. I am more used to running on true winter tires, so I am curious to see how these work. I like the looks of the covers, but may very well remove them from the...
