I had to laugh when I picked my Cybertruck up. The Tesla employee told me it will rust in a couple weeks. I highly doubt it, actually in 3.5 weeks now no rust and daily driving and lots of rain. Washed it once with standard car soap and water. No wrap.
Congrats! I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine. The Director of manufacturing who just left Tesla confirmed they are at 1000/wk solidly now. Crazy they will be putting out at least 4000 of these a month now. We will start to see a lot more of them around.
For as few cybertrucks as there are out there, it seems there are way too many accidents. This thing is not a toy, people have to stop treating it like one before someone gets hurt
I picked up a forged 2" drop from Home Depot. The shank has a 17K capacity then picked up a 10k ball. Works well. I prefer it over the adjustable since it is smaller to store and less obnoxious if I leave it on the truck.
Just received an EAuto TPE mat from Amazon. Looks pretty good, fits well and should help stop things from sliding around the ice rink of a factory bed finish.
The responses are interesting. I've had mine about a week. In the first 40 miles of driving I had been photographed, videotaped, people hung out their windows to hang loose me, smiled at. me and got flipped off! But, overall people love it. I have been using mine as a truck, Home Depot runs...
I just got my VIN last week and was around 60,000 in line. So if 5000 have been produced, that is an order rate of 1 in 12. A lot higher than I expected at the current price point.
