I have put plastic bags over the mirrors and lightly secured them with tiny carabiners. This has helped quite a bit. There is still some bird “bombings” but it’s much less. It does take a minute to put on and off but well worth it.

My 9 foot cantilever umbrella fits easily in the bed with lots of room to spare. (I have three horizontal panels and an air mattress above it)
