thank you. Yes grateful for this being pretty minor on the crash scale. Truck was an absolute rock in the collision. His car was totaled. Passenger side was destroyed and he either didnāt brake or accelerated into the bollards protecting the gas pump and tacoādthe front. Thankfully those are thereā¦
Yes I had the same thought. itās parked in the garage. Not going to drive it until I take it to the Sunnyvale Tesla repair center. Luckily wife homeschools the kids and I can use her Model Y until I get a rental.
I suppose bad Friday the 13th luck. This guy tried to make an illegal right turn into the shell station from the center lane, after turning out into the center lane illegally, right in front of me. Pretty significant damage to the front and driver quarter panel. Truck is driveable in medium...
Man, those look great. What wheels are those And how does the offset compare to the OEM? Do you have a side shot showing how much more they āpoke āout?
Given how hard the stainless is to clean and the size difference of the vehicles, I would say buy a cover for the model Y, store it in the frunk, and cover it in the carport. CT in the garage.
Boy⦠was really hoping for better. Primarily distance in front to help with parking in the garage. Which is tight! Iāve gotten used to doing it with just the camera but was really hoping for some distances. Oh well.
Are the OEM A/Ts really that bad in the snow?
I have an extra set of wheels and blizzak tires for my y and they do great in Tahoe. Wondering if I should considering buying a second set of 18ās for the CT with wintersā¦
Side note: parallel parking with 4 wheel steering is incredibly easy. Fantastic.
FSD will come when itās safe. My original 2016 S only had the basic autopilot features. FSD wasnāt even an option for years⦠itāll come and it will likely be great.
Now what is really like is the damn roof rackā¦...
I get about 100 real miles towing my 6000lb wakeboard boat. The truck tows better than my 2500 suburban did. Just doesnāt go far⦠everyone has their use case, and I was comfortable purchasing the truck with the limited towing range given my needs, but damn I wish it towed 200 milesā¦
iāve been having this issue for a while. Driving me nuts. Truck went to the SC and they could not fix it, determined they needed to replace the driver seat. I came back for another appointment and they replaced the seat, but the creaking did not go away. I have another appointment on August 5...
Thank you. This is a great rundown. I did this pretty much to a T except for the IPA. It got most of it off but still left a silhouette residue. Iāve repeated and the self healing PPF properties seem to be fading the residue. Fingers crossed it comes all the way out.
Iām very lost at this⦠The CT hate around here in California seems to be mostly coming FROM the Maga dopes, even though Elon seems to be their new lead donor. Donāt get it. People have limited intelligence and respect.
Thank you for the advice. I found the 14 year old boys who did it. Gave them a nice lecture, called their dad and met with him. He will make it right. I tried the warm vinegar and water soak. Didnāt work. However this PPF stuff is pretty remarkable⦠itās been in the sun today and seems to be...
