Wheels: Fuel Rush 18x9”, +20mm offset
Tires: Toyo Open Country AT3 35”X12.5”
Fitment: removed harmonic extension and other than a very light rubbing on the backside wheel well at full lock it needed no modification. Little heat gun and press was all that was needed.
Range: TBD
guy turned right in front of me. 100% his liability. $23k to fix the CT and his car was totaled. I had a Jeep wagoner rental for 2.5 months. Got it back a couple weeks ago, finally.
Great feedback. Was worried they’d be louder so that’s great to hear!
I saw the guy on here that has that exact setup. I LOVE those wheels. Probably my favorite look on the CT, but the load rating being well short of stock had me go a different direction. I order the Fuel Rush wheels which have...
do you like Those KO3s? I just ordered some 18s, with KO3s in 305/70/18. They are out of stock, however, so I am considering the Falken WildPeak AT4 Instead of waiting…
A 305/65/20 tire on the stock rims (+58.5 offset) will poke out ~3/8 inch further given the wider tire but will possibly have rubbing issues since it’s a ~3/4 inch wider tire (~3/8 on each side)
Makes sense. +58.5-30=+28.5mm. 28.5/10=2.85cm. 2.85cm/2.54=1.12 inches. If you have 305 tires that tire will add an additional 3/4” width over stock 285s, so 3/8ths on each side. Gets you to about 1.5 inches of poke over stock.
That’s not how it works. 0 offset means the wheel mounting point is dead center in the wheel, so if it’s a 9inch wheel it would be mounted 4.5 inches from each side wall. A positive offset pushes the mounting point closer to the wheel face, moving the wheel into the wheel well. A negative offset...
A lot of this depends on the wheels offset. I believe a larger tire on the stock A/T wheels with the large 58.5mm offset will rub. A 305/70/18 or 305/65/20 with an aftermarket wheel with a 0 or 18/20 offset may fit without any rubbing but not sure. Poke around on this site as there are several...
Thank you! I was waiting for these! Being able to expand them up and down the truck for lumber, skis, etc is worth the 800 for me vs the cheaper fixed ones.
Hoping for some help: Does any know definitely if an 18"x9" method wheel (I am eyeing the MR 317) with a 35x12.5" tire (Ko2 or Wildpeak A/T4W) will fit without any modifications at any suspension height? Also not sure on +18MM offset tor +3MM... Any advice or opinion appreciated!
I have looked...
