If they are offering a free replacement (sure seems they are) I'd approve in a heartbeat. At the same time, you never know when they'll break something in the process, but you already took that risk bringing it in, so why not proceed? I'd do it. And be sure to tell them how awesome they are for...

You know; I wonder if it has anything to do with the hand free frunk option. Need to try disabling that and see if this still happens. Cause it makes sense that would have to wake the vehicle when you get near it.

You should also notice the little white lights on the open door buttons all light up also.

Ironically Tesla delivered my brand new Cybertruck to me with the tires at 40psi and insisted they were fine for me to drive home.

Yea the functionality of the CT is such that getting "near it" wakes it up; while with the 3/Y it waits for you to pull a handle before checking if you're near it. Hopefully tesla will correct this with a update. I too find mine waking up if my wife takes her phone to the bathroom that's right...

I got a nail in one of my tires (all terrain) and had it patched by discount tire. Luckily, they convinced me to buy the certificates. Because the patch failed and they ended up having to replace the tire as well. So your experience seems to be par for the course.

If your goal is non-depreciation you've boxed yourself into only buying used 1 to 2 years old and only keeping around a year. At which point dealer/seller fees become more of a burden than the depreciation but you still get got. The only winning move is not to play. Or at least not pretend...

I don't really see the point, I mean if you really want to try to charge via the sun it would seem better to just buy 2 actual 400w+ panels and mount them to a rack up top connected to a large series of batteries in the back to take the power. Why settle for a lower output panel?
