And it is common to see people driving with plastic over a side or back window because it has been smashed. It is not fun to loose a window in the winter. Makes for a cold drive.
I agree on the dash. It is my least favourite aspect of the CT. I don’t need a lot of internal storage. If it is there stuff gets put in it and never gets touched again until the vehicle is emptied to sell it. I want to be able to hold my vehicle registration, sunglasses, my phone and wallet...
What you are seeing is a 120/240/208(bastard leg)v three phase. In this case you get 120v phase to neutral on 2 phases. You also get 240v when you measure the voltage on the phase to phase and 208v on the last phase. This has to do with the connection at the transformers. It is a way to give a...
The cold is my concern too. It is a warm February day at -19c now and warming up. I am in a hotel for 3 days with no charging infrastructure at it. There are a couple destination chargers here in Saskatoon but are next to useless for charging the CT in the couple of hours I can be plugged in. It...
120/240v is still single phase power or single sign wave. It is only the voltage difference in the length of a coil that creates ether 120v or 240v. Three phase power is the voltage difference from each phase being 120 degrees. There are 3 sign waves that are separated from each other by 120...
Man I have heard of having a clean vehicle however food sanitation clean is another level. I guess the CT is stainless steel just like utensils and pots so you could food sanitize clean it. Lol.
I could not help my self reading your post. I get wanting to be able to plug in the equipment in the...
There is a big farm equipment company that is close to me that produce the equipment 24/7. The only have 2 8 hour shifts a day, however the laser cutting tables and CNC machines are all automated. The staff need to keep stacking the steel plates up and the machines continue to cut. In the...
I see your concern on maintaining the price of the CT. To combat this concern is the knowledge that the cost per kWh goes down every year and will continue to. With the CT cost being mostly battery cost with fewer other costs the CT may actually come down in price. I may have my dates and costs...
Even in semi civilized areas it is hard to find a charger. The closest super charger is 400km from me. Our biggest city in Saskatchewan does not even have a super charger yet.
