I suspect PPF production lots vary very slightly in color just as paint lots do. If so, it may be more difficult to match the panel with new film than it is with paint because there is no way to blend film with the method a skilled painter uses to blend paint during application.

From his profile it looks like the OP hasn't yet bought a Cybertruck. I think he's looking for information about how it's built and how robust it is. The pointers provided in responses in this thread should help provide that.
I describe it by explaining how I experienced my other cars after driving the Cybertruck for few days:
My C6 Corvette felt sloppy and slow, while my Mercedes E350 felt heavy, rough and really, really sloppy and slow. Both of them felt completely outdated.
After wasting a couple of minutes reading the OP's rant and their rude responses to helpful replies I decided I had to act, so I consumed a few more seconds to find and click the proper "ignore" button.
They aren't hubcaps. They're wheel covers. For a given wheel design, the most "rotor and caliper you [will] see" is when there is wheel cover installed.
So, you should never install wheel covers on your $100k+ vehicle. To paraphrase some guy's motto: "The best wheel cover is no wheel...
I've seen and heard a lot of advice from the legal community to say nothing and admit nothing after an accident, regardless of whether or not you are at fault. I'm not sure I could do that, but maybe she was following that type of advice.
I had the first random wipe yesterday, about one minute after I engaged FSD. This is one in sixteen drives. I selected FSD on the Autopilot screen as soon as the new version downloaded, and haven't deselected it since. Also I've had the wiper mode set to automatic the entire time.
Well.... Santa's gifts don't/shouldn't arrive before 25 December. The Magi's gifts showed up on 6 January according to tradition. So, 25 December to 6 January is, for me, the holiday season.
But that update better show up before 7 January!!!
The Tesla alignment procedure is Interesting. As TorqMonstr suggests, I suspect most non-Tesla shops won't perform it or, at least, won't perform it correctly, as required by the service manual.
On the other hand, the only alignment adjustments mentioned in the service manual for the truck...
In the Cybertruck Service Manual.
Not so hard to find...

An mph offset is in line with the schedule of fines in most Texas jurisdictions (and that's probably typical elsewhere, too), with fines increasing based " x mph above the posted limit."
On the other hand, you won't receive a citation if you're not stopped by a law enforcement officer.

I never see this, but I also never change my wiper mode from Automatic and use FSD as often as I can to help train the system (and me!).
Maybe this happens to drivers who normally set their wipers to a manual mode, but also use Autopilot (TCC or FSD), at least occasionally, and the wiper is...
Whenever you engage FSD or other Autopilot functions, that function sets the wiper to automatic. Here is the note from the Wiper section of the Cybertruck Owner's Manual:
Note
Turning on Autopilot features automatically sets wipers to Auto.
For anything that won't come off with Sprayway, I use regular Bar Keepers Friend - a tiny amount on damp microfiber cloth to make a thin paste, and rubbing with very light pressure, then a wipe with a clean damp cloth and a dry one. I've seen no change in the truck's surface texture with this...
So far, after two days and nights, with about 25 miles of day and night FSD operation, I haven’t seen that. If my truck begins to behave that way I will make a service appointment.
I didn't mention "default". I was just pointing out the fact that engaging FSD (actually any autopilot function) sets the wiper to auto, and why. Here's the Owner's Manual reference...
