Consumerism - encouraging consumers to buy more - drives up consumer spending which makes up 70% of our economy. I’m more dismayed than entertained by how much of our economy depends on all of us buying that which we could do without.
But I’m also more dismayed than entertained by politics...
It would be interesting to see the informed opinion of a statics/polling professional on these type polls; that is to say, polls of self-selecting subjects within an uncharacteristic subset of the complete pool of possible subjects.
I think the professionals’ opinion would be “the results are...
DarkEye measured 5 dB difference between the old and new horn.
To get an idea about how much louder that is, consider this: The sound power of three identical sound sources, heard simultaneously, is 4.8 dB louder than hearing only one sound source. Two sources is 3 dB louder.
But the new...
Hmmm.....
Joined the forum today. (Coincidence? I don't think so!)
Lost both keys "on a trip". (Likely story!)
Asks for a key (obviously knows one key opens ALL of our crossbars!)
No response from Support (Well, that seems right, at least...)
This could soon be the crossbar villain we've...
Subjectively, the new horn is not as loud as the old.
Does someone have access to trucks with both horns and a sound level meter? If so, please test them for us.
I've installed the crossbar kit on my truck.
All the studs on the truck are the same size. The nuts that came with the kit are the same size as the nuts that were already installed on the studs on the top of the cab.

This is probably common knowledge, but in case someone hasn't discovered it...
You can completely cover (except for the area around the rearview mirror) the upper part of the windshield with the visors: flip the visor down then flip down the visor extension, then without moving the extension...
That's interesting, in the sense of living in interesting times.
I wonder if the spoiler is mounted on the rear crossbar hard points in some way that allows it to be removed easily. Probably not; anyone who could and would pay for all those modifications could and would rent a pickup truck...

Thanks, but no worries, I have FSD, but I join everyone who doesn't in hoping that basic autosteer will upgraded to at least hold the vehicle in the lane, even if it doesn't include lane changes, etc...
@ABILISK, I think the problem is the definition of "Autopilot" for the Cybertruck. Yours and Tesla's might be different.
I've copied the text below from the current version of the Cybertruck Owners Manual. It clearly states Tesla's definition of "Autopilot" as it applies to the Cybertruck...
Who can afford what is always relative.
In my case, the relative is who I'd call.
The relative who would give me a ride is my son. ?
The relative who would pick up the tire, bring it to me with tools and help me change it is my daughter. ?‍?
