Both you and the OP are in CA which I believe doesn't allow Tesla to adjust rates according to driving metrics. Supposedly this is to protect the consumer but since it puts everyone in the same bucket, good drivers will obviously have their rates affected by bad drivers.

I'm a bit of a contrarian on this point. I have a late 2022 Model Y and was planning to upgrade to either the Model Y refresh with HW4 or a dual motor Cybertruck next year (depending on price, can't afford $100k). If they're limiting HW3 FSD after this short a time (6 months for some buyers)...
I've had both FSD v12.3.6 and v12.4.3. V12.3.6 was good but v12.4.3 is far better, at least around here. V12.5 is being released at least to a few customers. Here's a Whole Mars video:
