This is why I love this forum. Real world comments about things I'm interested in. I bought my Cybertruck so I could move up from my popup trailer to a slightly bigger RV (which I have yet to do) because my 4runner wasn't quite up to the task. All info is good info in my book. Thanks for...
I've been pulling my popup trailer a bit. I just set the cruise to 58MPH. That's fast enough to keep others from being too aggravated, and slow enough where they can easily pass me if needed.
If you ever saw that interview with Elon in 2020 at his house (Gene Wilder's old house) with the Third Row Tesla Podcast team, Viv was the young woman there. It was an awesome interview, them just casually sitting around a big round table interviewing Elon. Elon's mom was there in the...
One of my sons lives in Omaha where they have Rocket car washes with memberships. Not a fan. Here at home, I just pressure wash all the bugs off, then quickly go over everything with Sprayway and a microfiber. Then, if I'm feeling ambitious I"ll hit the glass with a 50/50 isopropyl/distilled...
I remember hearing back in the 70s that Burger King wouldn't put any money into market research as far as new locations went. They just let McDonald's do it and then built a location across the street. A mentality like this isn't going to drive EV adoption for folks that don't live and breath...
I don't care who builds them, but I don't need 100,000 more chargers on MAJOR interstates. I want more chargers in off-the-beaten-path places. I want to pull my trailer with Cybertruck to a remote area and feel comfortable about getting home. NONE of the 3rd party chargers are going into such...
I agree. I always thought that OEMs that decided to "Go their own way" on charge port location, were doing it to give Tesla the middle finger. I certainly don't mind their customers paying through the nose for their wrong decisions now.
Just got my Starlink Mini and tried a suction cup mount on rear glass. I did not try the 48V route, but did try USB-C directly into CT, USB-C buffering through a 100W battery bank - and that plugged into CT, and lastly, plugged into the 120V AC outlet in the rear. For me, if I need to set up...
Same thing here. I saw it downloading (can't remember which version it said), then an hour later got the invitation to install. I put it off for a few hours because I needed the truck, then, POOF... it was gone. No update. I'm also still on 2025.26.8.
