You didn't happen to have a bike rack installed on the back, did you? FSD seemed to go crazy when I did...I think it thought it was being tailgated. My last couple of bike rides (going out with the bike rack installed in 2" receiver) I've gotten a message that FSD might not be available...
edit: Ok, I see now you were not talking about multiple ground points, but on relying on the metal conduit to ground that box. Ya, I agree that it would be best practice to have a grounding lug in that box. That's what I would do if it were my house.
I've had mine for almost 3 months now and have never gotten a finger or any outwardly negative response. Just before I got mine, I ran into a guy with 2 or 3 kids, and that was their main commuter. Kids, probably 5-7 years old playing video games in the back seat, and Mom and Dad up front. He...
Yes, I went 4Wheeling in atrociously dust conditions yesterday and decided to use the wiper cleaner on my way home as I was heading into the sun. OMG, 2 or 3 dry passes about gave me a heart attack. I was sure the wiper was grinding some of that grit right into the windshield!
I agree about the corners. Backing straight in with the camera is sooo easy. But, backing in on a diagonal, and those corners tend to freak me out. I'm extremely careful on the corners.
Replying to my own post...I just tried it today and simply asked, "What's my elevation?" Grok immediately responded with a precise and accurate answer. Cool.
I bought these from EVbase after trying a $10 garbage set from elsewhere and throwing them away. The ones from EVbase are solid and stay put.

In watching my security cameras, I've been noticing my mirrors unfolding at 4am when I have charging scheduled to start. However, when I've walked out to the truck in the morning, without my phone, it is still locked...though the mirrors were still unfolded. This morning, for some reason...
I've had mine literally hang out on those bumps they put in the freeway to let you know "Hey, you're on the yellow line!" I can sure feel them...why can't the truck? Also, on two-lane roads, I like to take the apex on inside corners...keeps everybody on the road from freaking out.
This is what I did. Totally unobtrusive and virtually unseen too. Bought the seal and square sponge from Home Depot. I cleaned with alcohol prior to installing the seal. The sponge I just throw in my smugglers bay, and only wedge in down there IF I know I'll be 4wheeling in heavy dust...
Funny you would ask that today. I just got back from an insane 4WD adventure up an narrow fire road lined with sticks and heavy dead branches from an old forest fire. It eventually turned into nothing (with nowhere to turn around) so I had to back down about 1/2 mile to a point I could turn...
