The problem for EV battery is not range loss, probably never. It is the individual cell. I would rather live with range loss than individual cell failure that requires fixes which cost a lot of money.
Mid to high 70s, original planned tri-motor 500 mile range price was $69.9k. I am expecting this configuration would be $79k now to be eligible for tax credit. But I guess the range won't hit 500 miles.
If it is dual motor 300 mile config, then it is much higher than original $50k price tag.
The EV tow mpg drops more because it is SO efficient!
For ICE, let's say for 100 miles it consumes 5 gallons of gas. Among 5 gallons of gas, only close to 1.5 gallons were used to drive the truck, rest were wasted as max thermal efficiency for gas engine is usually just over 20%.

How does M3 costs $40 to charge at most 80kWh? If you charge at home it would be $8 right?
In California, gas is close to $5 now, and Tesla super charge station near me is only 26 cents per kWh while the super greedy PG&E charges 34 cents to 62 cents per kWh. If CT price is good enough I will...
