As a practical matter, you'll want to do most of your miles at the height that keeps the axle shafts the straightest. That will minimize wear on the cv joints and maximize the life of them.
I don't imagine that these half-shafts are all that hard to replace, but still.

You can see the rub mark on the tire and the point on the hubcap is discolored.
I wish I'd said something when I noticed it the other day. Maybe someone with an X account could've "X'd" at Elon to let him know his hubcap was loose.
