I don't even have to think about turning outlets on and off. There is a setting in the outlets page for turning on the outlets when you get in the car. They turn off when you leave. They don't work if you are plugged in of course since the inverter is in use for charging.

Now that would be great to see. I think the biggest roadblock would be that Tesla wouldn't want to make a radio app, they would have to decide to open up the ecosystem to third parties. And that introduces a whole family of problems they likely just didn't want to deal with.

Not that I've noticed so far. Before this I've been running that antenna and cable connected to an HT that I just sat in the cup holder and it never had any issues for the past couple months.

From what I've seen that others have posted, the AC outlets being on makes a lot of RF noise. So any radios need their own batteries.

I can tell you that right now I have solar plus power wall and powershare is not an option. We are still waiting for an OTA update to enable powershare with solar. Powershare right now only works if you don't have another backup solution. How this translates to permanent off grid I don't know...
