That's honestly quite annoying. I very rarely put in a destination on the map and don't want to do that for every trip to the store. But if it keeps trying to make random turns i may just switch back to TACC only. For 99% of my driving I only really want TACC plus lane centering.
Is there any way to make it just auto steer to stay in its lane if a destination isn't set? It keeps trying to make turns even onto unmarked gravel service roads
From a business standpoint it makes sense. If they are making covers a little faster than they are making trucks then you do ship all the covers individually until you catch up or do you install covers on new trucks and ship the leftovers to older trucks over time? A lot less shipping costs with...
I noticed the the door button on the back right had some weird sticky gunk on it and tried to clean it. It wouldn't come off with windex so I grabbed a razor to scrape it off the glass only to find I easily scratched it. Then it started to peel off. I checked the other glass pillars and all were...
Does the gateway show up as a separate product in your invoice for the bundle? I bought the bundle and they shipped the gateway but not the wall charger and there was no record of it in my order history. I had to contact support to get them to ship out the charger.
It depends on your local regulations. Both state and your specific power company. For instance I'd love to diy a solar install but that is just not allowed in my area. Anything connecting to the grid has to be installed by a certified contractor.
Since there isn't a Clighter on the truck you'd need to use a 120v to 12v converter anyway so why do that when you can just use something that runs on 120v? As for battery compressors I just wouldn't trust them to sit for a couple years before I need them.
I picked up this AC compressor from home Depot and keep it in the smuggler's bin with an extension cord. I only used it for topping up so far but it worked great and let's you choose a pressure to go to then it shuts off at that pressure...
I have exclude home turned on and it's worked flawlessly the whole time. Somewhat surprising since I have a 300ft driveway and gps can be iffy about getting my location right from the address since it's a new house.

To get the custom message box you need to be signed in and choose vehicle charging, wall/mobile connector order. It's really hard to find if you don't know how to get to it.
My installer told me they can't use the 3V with the whole setup I'm getting and that the issues is with Tesla. Maybe if you were adding onto an existing system you could get Tesla do special assistance stuff but for a whole new system it's a huge headache for not guaranteed results. Better to go...
Makes sense. My utility doesn't offer net meeting and any excess gets sold back for a pittance so I need a battery to store my solar for night. So with solar + battery + powershare I needed the V3 gateway.
Does your system just have a transfer switch then? If you want powershare then ya you'll need a gateway but for which version of it then yes asking your contractor first is the way to go.
