That's honestly quite annoying. I very rarely put in a destination on the map and don't want to do that for every trip to the store. But if it keeps trying to make random turns i may just switch back to TACC only. For 99% of my driving I only really want TACC plus lane centering.

Does the gateway show up as a separate product in your invoice for the bundle? I bought the bundle and they shipped the gateway but not the wall charger and there was no record of it in my order history. I had to contact support to get them to ship out the charger.

It depends on your local regulations. Both state and your specific power company. For instance I'd love to diy a solar install but that is just not allowed in my area. Anything connecting to the grid has to be installed by a certified contractor.

My installer told me they can't use the 3V with the whole setup I'm getting and that the issues is with Tesla. Makes sense. My utility doesn't offer net meeting and any excess gets sold back for a pittance so I need a battery to store my solar for night. So with solar + battery + powershare I needed the V3 gateway.

Does your system just have a transfer switch then? If you want powershare then ya you'll need a gateway but for which version of it then yes asking your contractor first is the way to go.
