I had an issue while staying at a friend's place that had an L6-20 plug I was trying to use. I got an adapter for it of Amazon that specifically stated it was for ev use only. When I plugged in the 14-50 end of the mobile connector it just pulsed red and the truck said something like bad ground...
I put protectaclear on mine and didn't bother to wash it till now, a month later. Only washed it because of all the bugs on the front after a road trip. I just used tap water and a microfiber cloth to get the bugs off then sprayed the rest of the truck with the hose. The water left some barely...
I was just thinking I should pick up a spare in case I get stuck in the past. Though it looks like this one is only for deloreans, any idea what mods would be needed?
Others have said reasons for why they might leave doors open but I can say that when I took mine in for a short service job that the indicated door and frunk status was in fact the live status.
Just throwing some thoughts I had into this debate. I just got back from a trip visiting friends in a rural town for several days. The closest supercharger was 30 minutes from their house at highway rest stop and I had to use a 120v outlet while I was there. Thankfully I was able to park in...
Well both pictures show the doors and frunk open so if it was left open overnight then I don't think the computer or lights would turn off. That would account for the drain.
Basically every space heater of any design will draw up to 1200watts because that's the max continuous draw allowed by code from a normal wall outlet. The only real differences between models is how they spread that heat out with fan settings, and which safety features are included.
I was able to schedule delivery the day after my vin showed up and took delivery the day after that. It just depends on where your truck is when you get a vin and how busy your SC is.
Looking at this quote from the about power share page I have a question:
"Currently, the only way to get Powershare equipment is to purchase a Foundation Series Cybertruck. In addition to cabin and cargo bed power outlets, all Foundation Series Cybertruck owners will receive a Powershare...
I know I saw a Tesla made cover on their store at some point but i don't see it now. It said it didn't extend all the way to the ground to ensure the cooling system could get fresh air.
Update: after initially scheduling my service appointment for a few days out, the next day they changed the date to today (2 weeks after initial request) to wait for the replacement part to arrive. I went it and they fixed it in an hour with no hassle. Pretty easy service appointment.
While I...
I had the opposite happen. Got approved for 25k down and 8% rate, then when it was time to pick up my offer had expired and the new one was better. Same down payment and 6% rate. Both through Tesla.
Did they say what the super manifold is? I've never heard of that and manifold usually implies it's for a fluid. If something like the battery coolant manifold was plugged up I don't see how that would completely kill the car, just percent it from moving.
All everything flexes. It's impossible to make any material that is perfectly stiff and doesn't have any flex to it, the physics of chemical bonds just don't allow that. But the stiffer something is the bigger it needs to be to see the flex with your eye. One of the most famous examples of...
Sir, you appear to be leaking coolant. You should get that fixed ASAP. Hopefully you are still under warranty or the repair could be pricey. Luckily they shouldn't need to keep your arm in the shop for more than an hour or so. It would really suck if you had to leave it there for a couple days.
