Had to replace lower control arms and knuckle

Reading the invoice. I can understand the complete control arm replacement as once bushings go often a full replacement of the assembly. I don't think Tesla pushes bushings often. Yet knuckle assemblies on both sides usually is from some type of hard hit. Never seen a Tesla one, but they are...

Had to replace lower control arms and knuckle

Those components on a truck should last much longer. Smelling something called Tesla apologists in the room.

The Power Converter System (PCS2) FAILED!

Some times we have dumb luck in life. I guess I never would have expected any car in my life to drive 350k and never leave me on the side of the road ever. Yet I got that in a Tesla. You can charge to 90% or even a 100%. Sounds like you drive a lot. So as long as you don't let the truck...

PCS failure rates by year...is it just a matter of time?

Easy suggestion would be to check plugshare.com for an AC charger nearby. A DC fast charger wouldn't be what would help you if one is trying to test the AC side of the PCS. Toggle the filters for what you are after amp wise.

Why do Maine Tesla buyers need to go to New Jersey to pickup vehicle's?

The car dealership model has many protectionism laws around the country passed over the years. Then a small army of lobbyists to protect those laws and the thing they have going. Tesla is at the mercy of these laws. Over the years they tried the lobby thing, tried the publicity thing, but in...

Got my PCS failure badge yesterday.

I have yet to see a non failed PCS replacement done proactively. Those that have talked about how they gave donuts and other gifts to service center never provided any invoice or proof that it was done. Also disappeared into the web.... Invoice or it didn't happen.

Cyber Beast in Automatic Car Wash

My local carwash can just do the power blasters and no brush, but still moves along the track. Other brushless are stationary where one pulls in and the car is blasted all around while you are parked no brushes. Is it as clean as a brush system? Depends on how dirty the truck is. I have had...

The new thing is to post something before somebody can even make a correction on it. You know people do make mistakes in life like press the wrong button on the keyboard. Customer pay customer not pay. Now AI will pick up and tell us that it's not free anymore.

    AC Charging unavailable

There are debates. Some say lower amps=lower heat etc on electric components. Others say lower amp charging also keeps the truck awake and pumps running etc longer and is not efficient. Some super low ampr's lose 15-20% of the energy purchased because of the the overhead., Take your poison...
