Was looking for attachment points in the investor day video and found these little slits located directly above the B and C pillars. Are these they?
I couldn't find anything farther back.
It's about 20 seconds into the video, you'll need to embiggen to see the slits.
Windshield appears to be perfectly flat, which should mean much cheaper replacement than curved glass. It does have a corner cut-out for the BAW. It appears that ALL the glass is perfectly flat, except maybe the roof which appeared to have a bevel near the side edge, but probably not, lighting...
Stainless Steel does not appear to be very thick. SOMEBODY GET A COUPLE DIMES PENNIES AND NICKLES CLOSE ENOUGH TO THE DAMN STEEL TO TELL ME HOW THICK THE STAINLESS REALLY IS.
Is it Ten cents thick? Eleven? Twenty? Two cents thick? Howabout Six cents? It can't be ten with two nickels thick.
Back tire looks small because the suspension is raised.
Front tire looks bigger because the guy is standing in front of it. Same as the moon looks much bigger when it's near the horizon.
The front fender flare is closer to the body fold , which also enhances the Optic Delusion™️.(horizontal fold...
Just a button you push. 90 second delay then the car shuts off.
There's an explosive squib in the battery management system, disconnects the battery permanently. Saw it in a Munro Video.
These bed rail mounts you speak of... wouldn't putting a rack there disable the vault door? Sounds like it
I saw a photo of some "mounting points" awhile back. Seemed kinda small and nobody was sure that's what they really were.
Well Yeah, but where's the attachment points for the racking?
I'm very surprised there's not much discussion of that, around here.
But seriously, with stainless that thick... just get a skilled welder and put the racks... where's the attachment points?
The glass occupies a lot of area... you got...
It is very simple. Tesla does not advertise. Ford and others do advertise.
How could you ever expect any for-profit media organization to be impartial? You Cannot.
The big news in the earnings was:
That's what we should be talking about.
!!! NOT !!!!
Not yet.
When we see the beta prototypes, there will be something to talk about. The wipers are still vaporware Maybe we get a peek inside the frunk or sail pillar compartment
When we can get close enough...
From Way Back on page two...
I think that they will be able to punch very large holes out of larger pieces and end up with less waste than you imagine.
I know from doing drywall with many triangular cuts under roof trusses, or above steps, that the cut-out piece that might otherwise be...
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Without a doubt the Cybertruck is going to be the most capable (mass market) off-road vehicle of all time.
You have electric motors producing far higher torque than ever seen before, at any wheel speed, while computers with millisecond precision...
When I saw the way he pulled the ramp out at the unveiling, my first thought was "he's gonna smash his fingers on the ground"... and stowing the two sections of ramp away, that looks way too easy way to get your fingers pinched.
I would put a few dollars down on a bet that there will be a...
You are telling only half the story.
In 98 percent of cases, after driving uphill for a distance, you are going to get some downhill regenerative power restored to your battery.
I imagine towing a trailer downhill will add a lot more than the usual regenerated power.
LFP isn't just a little more durable than other chemistries, it's A LOT more durable. 2500 or more cycles is easily acheivable if the battery isn't abused. Nickel chemistries are very lucky to get 1000 cycles, even if babied. Your "million mile battery" is LFP, no other chemistry.
LFP...
