Sound system in Cybertruck is really AWESOME! -- says Tesla engineer

I used to work on helicopters, so for me, as long as it has base I can feel and does not muddy the midrange, I am usually pretty happy! ;)

Grab handles above the doors? Would you guys miss not having grab handles above the doors?

I have seen flexible ‘soft’ handles made from 550/survival cord with leather or nylon wrapped around as the handle and those seemed to work fine.

Best looks @ Cybertruck display menu controls / open frunk / dashboard-interior / glass roof

I noticed in looking at Model Y tires and wheels that the same tire with the same ratings just with an 18” center are much cheaper. If I ever have to buy new wheels for a Model Y, I will buy 18”…

Best looks @ Cybertruck display menu controls / open frunk / dashboard-interior / glass roof

Funny, I remember the times they broke, stripped out, or you hear a chunk and watch the glass fall into the door… I HATE cranked windows and only had them until I could afford better. Memories of the past are so interesting on how the same thing can be viewed from different perspectives…

Cybertruck driving on......SALT WATER..... (in ocean tide)

It is amazing that after 100 years of automotive and chemistry advances that someone would not have created some kind of coating to protect cars from rusting... Oh wait, they did. Next to the ocean and salted roads in the winter... will definitely rust the under maintained or poorly designed...

    Remember the Cyberquad

I am not sure if you have researched this, but if you listen to people who have worked at Tesla, they said the scariest thing was being empowered to solve problems they found. There are many times at many different companies I suggested a solution, but never did I feel empowered to just fix the...

172 KWH / 500 miles range based on forbidden video

I would agree if it was no heavier, same frontal area, and roughly same drag as the X… But the Cybertruck is not any of those, so I do not expect it to be as efficient as a Model X.

Tesla Van unveil at Cybertruck delivery event?

I know that the commercial roles we (company I now work for) sell & operate eTransit for usually do around 100-150 miles a day, with time to charge during some break or etc being common.

Video: 4 Wheel Steering turning radius / handling shown by Cybertruck @ Giga Texas

Would have to get a race drone to stay out in front of them... but that will not give as good a sense of speed if they pass the drone once they punch it.

This will be a common reaction to your Cybertruck on the road 🚀🛸

I was told to get a reservation after talking about it almost every day from the reveal until the end of March, beginning of April 2021. Just be dedicated. ;) So, if only half convert to sales, I should be getting mine come end of 2025 or beginning of 2026? ?

New Cybertruck @ Hollister Hills Stairs Steps climbing video

Very cool, might do this… but not until the warranty has expired… And the cost to have it installed cannot be cheap either… $2,195 per diff is… eye watering.

Let's talk tow ratings? Why would the Dual-Motor and Tri-Motor have different CVWR?

I cannot find the source, so I am not sure... But I HATE the Leaf and the different way it drives when cold or the battery is full.

Let's talk tow ratings? Why would the Dual-Motor and Tri-Motor have different CVWR?

I believe one of the upgrades that was reviewed was that the regen can dump extra to generate heat and that be disbursed by the heating/cooling system… but I could have that wrong.

Let's talk tow ratings? Why would the Dual-Motor and Tri-Motor have different CVWR?

More motors, means you can do stronger regen braking, thus a heavier load can be safely towed. That is what I assumed.

Cybertruck hauling big motorcycle (Honda Adventure) in its bed

My Kawasaki Vulcan Vaquero is MASSIVE! With no ramp, probably trailer it instead of loading it… Until (?) someone makes an EV bagger.
