Awesome, thanks for the instructions. I will say that the rearview display on the media screen is definitely growing on me and keeps my eyes from having to look multiple places.
For the love of god get the beast, unless you aren’t a “car person” so to speak. For the extra 20k the performance upgrade is staggering and the dash is beautiful. It comes with credit of $2,500 for PowerShare and $580 for universal wall connector. Love mine, best vehicle I’ve ever owned. No...
This is total BS and FUD. They will work on cars with "aftermarket tires." This feels similar to the "can't let a Cybertruck get wet" because it will rust nonsense.
Depends what the value is on the charging and shop credit, if it’s similar value not really a big deal unless it expires and you don’t need it. My store credit for PowerShare and UWC exp in 1 yr
Interestingly they sent me the universal wall connector at no charge prior to me even ordering the...
Well I have one in transit to me now, Tesla app says $2500 for Gateway and $580 for Universal Charger, reduced to $0. But thanks ?. Kind of moot I guess…. I did receive the universal charger a while ago for free. Gateway shipped a couple weeks later.
Essentially a $3,000 credit now, $2,500 for gateway and "free" $580 Universal Charger, they mail both to you, and you go through QMerit to find the installer. MUST be done this way as TSLA won't let the system work if you get all the parts and hire a random electrician.
Got it, just tested and it works great. Needs to be a parking lot with vehicles in it so vehicle can see where the spaces are, OR well lined spaces so the vision system can see the lines.
Wow, that's practically an apartment back there. So many people don't understand that there's a tonneau cover over a huge bed in the back, I keep hearing people say I could never get the Cybertruck because there's nowhere to put anything and it's not practical, ignorant lost souls ?‍♂️?‍♂️.
I now realize that if you put it back in park you can see which door is open, and that might be a safety feature so someone doesn't open and close their door while the truck is moving.... When out of Park it truly is a generic idiot light.
I really like the phone key, phone is the fob, and think it would be super simple to make the lock button in the app open all of the doors...
No need to carry a separate fob.
So, I work alot at night and go to my vehicle at 2am, it's extremely unsafe to have all of your doors unlocked at the same time because someone could jump in your passenger or back door... This is something every auto manufacturer has realized and why every other car other than Tesla does not...
Unfortunately, the mobile app DOES NOT override driver door lock mode, so you cannot unlock all doors with the mobile app. If you could that would completely solve my problem. Then it would function like a normal key fob for any other car.
Not sure if these are Tesla things or unique to cybertruck, but these quirks are annoying me as a first-time Tesla owner:
If a door is not fully closed alarm will ding but it won't tell you which door. All of my other vehicles do this.
B pillar camera won't show up anywhere on screen. Not...
