I ordered in early July. My delivery is set for December. They did send me a gift, a hat and some sew-on patches, a couple weeks ago, so I guess they haven't forgotten me, yet.
I saw Teslabs is making prototypes, so they're ugly right now, of what it might take to make the CT EU compatible. They put edging on the metal. And, they put a foam pad on the frunk. Yes, yes, it's fugly, it's a prototype, remember. Where there's a will, there's a way.
Just remember, in September, Tesla got the $7500 tax credit. Now, that's gone and they're still offering the same lease cost to the buyer. That implies they are eating the $7500 in some form. I've pointed out above that the notes spec a $6500 lease credit; presumably a Cap Cost Reduction. Then...
I don't think the Luxe Pkg is included when thinking about residual values. In my calculation, they use a ~70% RV on the vehicle's price of $100k. to get to a buyout price of $71,361. 70% also works for the AWD.
The difference in residual value is ~$14k, between the two models, and given the hardware price difference of $20k, not including the premium package, implies that the residual value they're using is 70%!!! Seems high.
If you look at the $57,390 and compare that to $80k, that implies a RV of...
I track my highway/city driving and for highway driving, 75-80mph, I get 405Wh/mi, which is 304mi of range. For city, 35-55mph, I get 315Wh/mi, which is 390mi of range. I have the Core wheels with Pirelli tires, no covers.
As others have mentioned, I generally never think about maximum range, I...
Yes, I'm old; but no, I drive 20mi a day; and avg 12k a year. I pay $75, and another $2 fee. I thought my coverages looked pretty standard, in fact, more than on my LibMut policy.
$452 is the 6 month amount.
I've been with LibMut for 48yrs. When I added my CT to my 2018 Model 3, my policy more than doubled. Then when I sold my Model 3, the CT alone was $235/mo, so I shopped around. I get better coverage with Progressive, $75/mo. Why? Dunno.
Some of us, have reported in recent threads that riding the yellow line hasn't happened in a while. Are you on 13.2.9, and 2025.32.8? Have you cleaned the center camera glass? Have you tried comfort mode? Some of those things may have helped others.
Of course use Tesla's nav. It's good, convenient and always improving. However, its predictions can be conservative, and ABRP gives you more granular control, so in this case, it's indicating that if you keep your speed under 55mph, you can make it to Las Cruces with 5%.
Plus, it's free for...
Incredible story; wishing the two of you the very best outcome.
Yes, we all should learn CPR. I did in HS, and I saved my mom's life when she choked on a large piece of steak. Scariest thing I ever experienced. After that, I bought a device, a Resusicube, so all my nephews and nieces can learn...
In my experience heat kills batteries not cold.
What's confusing is that heat helps electrons move more freely, so it's good for charging, quickly. Cold makes the electrons move slowly, so not good for regen braking, and it can limit capacity when really cold; but, I've not heard of anyone...
