The top of the display has your fuel tank gauge, whether in miles of range or %age. That's based upon the EPA-rating. This is where people get confused. Honestly, it should always show %age like a fuel gauge. When it shows miles, people get the wrong impression that it's showing miles based upon...
That seems out of the ordinary to me. I'd take that in to see if one of the cams is not working properly. You can go into the service menu and take a look at the alerts to see which camera is being flagged. If it's the same one each time, then maybe that's the bad one.
This chart is from Tesla, and it shows the steepest deg at the beginning, and then flattening over time. This is similar to many such charts. There is often a small flat spot at the start, which is due to the top buffer, which is due to manufacturing variances between battery cell suppliers. So...
Avoiding deer is hard for humans, FSD has more cams so it'll probably eventually be a little better, but still, it's gonna be hard to avoid critters. Humans are far more predictable in their movements than deer.
Elon tweeted out at 11:30a ET in response to a question:
"14.2 rolls out in a few weeks and then 14.3 a few weeks later, depending on safety testing. There is so much change that we are carefully confirming each one."
Lots of good info in this thread, much appreciated to all who contributed.
I had a sheet I made using teslalogger.de data with my 2018 Model 3's charging speeds on V2 and V3 cabinets, that I'd give to anyone who was in my car to help them understand supercharging.
I probably confused them...
6yrs ago, I did an edit at the local oncology parking lot. There's a one-way roundabout. Using summon, the car will drive right in the middle of the lane, which is far from the curb. I edited it to bring the thru-lane closer to the curb, under the actual awning for patient pickup. They did not...
Well, I don't know about comfort mode being the issue; but, I mentioned yesterday in some other thread that my truck seems to be driving better in keeping centered within its lane, and staying away from the centerline. I used some pics from a trouble spot to illustrate. Last time I can recall...
So, I was wondering have others noticed that the truck keeps in its lane better?
I have a country road, 45-50mph, where on a couple curves, the truck will touch the yellow centerline and even cross over as much as a foot. Almost as if the momentum takes it across. Anyway, it hasn't done that in...
Since pressure washing while on an epic roadtrip isn't always practical, I wonder if having an electric leaf blower would help a little in trying to reduce the dust load.
So, if you look at the gray dots, I took the raw data from Teslalogger.de. He collected all the supercharger data and that blue line is his best-fit line for V2 supercharging.
I know, I know, it's weird. It shouldn't go above 150kW. Obviously, some mixed up data when calculating the V2...
The RWD does not seem to have sold all that well, so I don't think decontenting the existing dual-motor is likely.
I vaguely recall the last time the tax credit disappeared, Tesla slowly dropped the prices. Back then, interest rates were lower, so that wasn't really an option.
Today, I would...
Here's a chart I made for my passengers to help them understand the charge taper. For me, the CT taper matches my 2018 Model 3, when they reach about 30%. I typically feel like going when I get to the 65-70% range, as that's where it crosses below 100kW. Starts to feel slow. I mean, I've...
