    Hail storm (2"-3") survival results.

That's pretty impressive. I was confident the SS panels could take the beating as the CT can survive class 4 hail. I wasn't sure about the windshield and glass roof.

Good to know. 18” Method wheels?

Going from Ford Lightning to Cybertruck? Thinking of trading up to the cheaper 60k CT from a Lightning, worth ~ extra 10k?

I read that Elon’s directive to his engineers was to make the best EV/GAS full size pickup truck in the segment and make it handle like a sports car, not a pickup truck. They definitely accomplished the mission but it took longer than anticipated. Motor1.com “During the delivery event in...

Premium upgrade offer to dual motor orders?

I don’t necessarily agree with your timeline BUT I definitely see this “upsell” e-mail being sent to all $59,990 buyers. 2027 delivery date reservation holders would be the most tempted by this offer. Buyer incentives would include receiving their CT faster and enjoying the Premium features of...

Premium upgrade offer to dual motor orders?

With only a $10k delta between the Dual Motor ($72k) and Premium ($82k) nobody is ordering the Dual Motor. The 2027 lead time and $10k price increase has killed sales.

    Waited forever! Finally Cybertruck Owner:

Unless you're a Tesla insider nobody knows Tesla's COGS to manufacture a Cybertruck. It would be pure speculation on anyone outside of corporate. The $10k price increase was to stop the lead time on orders. The loooong lead time of April 2027 was not in the company's best interest as consumers...

Anyone upgrade to the "Cyber" wheels from the "Core" wheels or 18" wheels? Do you notice any difference in the ride quality?

I recently watched this Rays Engineering manufacturing video. Rays is a Japanese company who has been around since 1973. A set of genuine Rays TE37 wheels will set up you back $4k+. Manufacturing a forged wheels is a fascinating and time consuming process using 7 manufacturing steps. After...

Has anyone RECEIVED a 2026 Cybertruck?

The Terrestrial Underbody Armor was on BO sometime back. Maybe the parts are on BO again causing your production delay.

Has anyone RECEIVED a 2026 Cybertruck?

That option is most likely causing the delay.

Has anyone RECEIVED a 2026 Cybertruck?

When you arrive for delivery check the trucks VIN against your Tesla app. If they don't match I would be suspicious of a "reject delivery" vehicle by another party.

Anyone upgrade to the "Cyber" wheels from the "Core" wheels or 18" wheels? Do you notice any difference in the ride quality?

The mounting system for the Halodisc ll wheel covers is very ingenious. I would recommend trying out the $229 wheel covers first before dropping $2k+ on a set of Paradox 18” wheels. https://www.haloblk.com/products/halodisc-2-wheel-covers-for-tesla-model-3-highland-18-inch-photon-wheels-rtp

$59k CT - Short Term Ownership / Depreciation & Resale Value Discussion

I’m confident the $59,990 price will return once production catches up with demand. Unlike the $70k RWD fiasco Tesla finally hit the Cybertruck sweet spot regarding MSRP and standard features.

    Long Range RWD Delivery!

Here is a pic of the Premium rear LED light bar. I believe the $69,990 trim is missing the middle LED’s and just has the two small LED’s near the bed sides.

$59k CT - Short Term Ownership / Depreciation & Resale Value Discussion

Anyone who orders the base AWD $69,990 trim will see an instant $10k drop in depreciation the moment they take delivery.

How do i get a 24/48 hour Demo (dfw)?

My local Tesla store no longer offers 48 hour test drives. Increased demand for test drives after the $59,990 model was launched is my only theory.
