I have a similar complaint, but about the navigation voice volume. I always minimize it to the lowest setting just above muted. I like to hear it, but just lightly under my music or whatever I am listening to. I complete trip get out, next time I use navigation it is back to being loud again. Go...

I have this, it is very good quality, really thick. It is still a little of a pain because so big, but well the windshield is big not much you can do…..

Never heard of that stuff from the factory on the windshield or this 1 in 15 claim. Mine was tinted with no issue. Seems more like a rookie shit tint job, than a truck problem.
