When I bought solar several years ago it came with a free panel if needed. I have a 200amp panel and they didn't need to upgrade. (would've been nice to get a free larger panel).
Maybe older homes with smaller panels wouldn't qualify.
From the order spreadsheet, it's almost at 1,000. Who knows how many FS series there are. But if it ends at 1,000 and I'd have to wait an extra month or two to get a non-FS, I'd rather do that.
But I ordered in case it takes another year to get one in case they keep selling FS for as long as...

I don't have 100k plus tax/license sitting around so I have to sell my Tesla and F-Type if anyone has any interest.
The Jaguar is already listed, and I need to make an ad for the Tesla.
Tesla's trade-in offers are horrible, even including the saved...
Thak you for all the data input, it's Awesome.
I got the email invite yesterday and ordered the AWD. I've waited so long for the Cybertruck, but didn't really want the FS plus the loss of the $7,500.
I have no clue when I'd get a non-FS and didn't want to wait another year so I bit...
I got the invite yesterday and ordered AWD, I saw this thread (posted earlier), I talked to Tesla and they said I cannot downgrade to a non-FS. Only thing I do is delay the FS. I wanted verification and got put on hold and she said she talked to management and that was correct.
I donāt think this is true for me. I got my invite email today and I ordered and called Tesla. They had to put my on hold and ask management. They said you cannot change to a non-Foundation. You can only delay the Foundation.
At least thatās what they told me.
That's so awesome if true, I just received my invite email today. Didn't want to lose out so I ordered. Would be great to change it later for non-foundation to save 20k plus the $7,500.. But then were would that put you in line, Instead of getting it in a few months or so, would it be next year...
Doesnāt saint fair at all. And how did they determine itās not eligible. If they were offering up to 4k for installation, Iām sure that includes a bigger breaker box (if needed), permits, and labor.
Iād get a full detailed explanation of what approvals and what makes it ineligible.
Makes sense...
They offered me only 22k for my 2022 Model 3 Standard range + with white interior and low miles.
Will have to see it on my own when my number comes up.
I donāt know if itās a blended average. When I average 185 watts or so, itās driving really efficient and just cruising efficiently to work and back. Thatās just kinda how I like to drive, see how efficient I can be.
But normal driving if Iām running a little late, I get about the rated 205...
I didnāt read through all the pages, but Teslaās stated range is based on city driving, not highway.
My M3 can get better than the stated 205 watts per mile. My city average is 185 watts per mile.
my highway average is 267 watts per mile at 80mph and 250 watts per mile at 75mph.
I definitely think we will, theyāre just about up to 1128. I think so many people are passing up due to the extra 20k.
I bet in the next week or so, a bunch of 1128ārs will be notified.
100% for sure the Teslaās are the best vehicles Iāve ever owned.
I regret selling my Model S, but I bought a boat and installed a hitch and attempted to tow it to the lake. It just too way too much juice for how far way the lake was.
Sold it and bought a Cayenne diesel to tow the boat and worked...
