This hasn’t happened to me. Does it depend on the posted speed limit? From CO to WI I did my fair share of accelerated speed ups when I wanted the CT to go faster. I’ve actually been a little nervous because the CT has gone as fast as 88mph without me doing anything.
I woke up at 3am and for some reason decided to just check the ol Tesla shop and low and behold the winter tire package was available. I purchased right away and 3 hours later… gone.
Annoyed I didn’t get an email when it was available. Oh well. Looks like you just need to check the shop every 5...
Must need to be perfect conditions, I’ve had two experiences with this now and both times as long as I had the lows on I was alright. Country roads, pitch black out. Next time it’s really wet and thick I’ll need to jump out and see how bad it can get.
Ordered 1 set as I’m hoping they will have a Cyberbeast variant in the future (Cerberus etc) so I could move the fronts to the back. May be wishful thinking but we will see. I’m sure aftermarket will have an option soon if not already.
For what it’s worth the Dewalt mobile air compressor was the only non-Milwaukee tool I owned and it literally stopped working 2 weeks ago after 12 months to the date. Bought it on a Black Friday deal last year and I guess this year I’ll wait to see if Milwaukee has a good deal somewhere or...
My camera looks just as bad if not worse in rain. I haven’t used rainX on it yet but I’m going to run to Home Depot right now and try it out. It’s my only unfixable (thus far) complaint about the truck.
What you referenced was the DuraTrac winter tires that Tesla sells separately (when in stock). Your standard tires the Territory’s are not 3 peak winter rated. They’re the same ones I have as well.
Thanks for the video, and quite honestly this type of slick snow test is more of a snow test than heavy snow is. The reality is on a day to day basis in winter you’re not seeing heavy snow fall - but you may have light precipitation that results in slick wet surfaces with slush and a dusting. In...
Must be varying by location. I bought one at 3, bought another at 5 & another one 10 min ago. Realized I should get 3 of all 3 kids for Christmas. No issues on my end.
Just interjecting commentary for the purposes of history but I don’t believe that the CT receiving the $7500 tax credit will be a needle mover for units in a significant way. Do I believe a large % of people that ravage these forums will get off the hump? Absolutely. But I don’t correlate the...
The reality is what was put forth in the announcement. The 500 mile variant (if there was going to be one) was always slated to be first. It never came to be, because it doesn’t exist. The $40k truck is what people came to reserve, it cost absolutely nothing to do at $100 bucks. This is why the...
There were over 1 million reservations within, what, the first week of the announcement showing a $40k exoskeleton supertruck with 500 miles of range? And you’re shocked that there aren’t more conversions? This is what baffles me.
That said, if the Cybertruck released even just 1 year earlier...
The wheels.. definitely not for me, kind of an eye sore on the truck they stand out and not in a good way of the aesthetic. Just something completely off by their design in relationship to the exterior of the vehicle. Like fitting a round plug in a triangle shape. I don’t even hate the wheels...
My NFS was ordered 10/5 & I had the exact same experience except subjectively worse. I was promised confident delivery dates twice (not the non-confident estimate that is provided) along with setting a delivery date. They even went so far as to let me know I could sell my car, to which I did...
I had a similar deal and the ammonia free glass cleaner took it all off eventually. It just took a while to go at it. I also used a flat plastic scraper. Definitely want to avoid this BKF stuff since my eyes will certainly be annoyed with variances in the color of my panels.
It’s such a dumb take, an extremely stupid, poor person take. Not worth it at all to discuss the hundreds of reasons why leasing is wrong, but extra stupid when you can’t even buy it. You literally burned money away on a depreciating asset that now you have no ownership in. You could have put...
There are some very critical differences between my Model S and Cybertruck and I think we are very likely seeing the same thing.
1. Cybertruck hugs the left lane line more than it should.
2. When passing a semi the Cybertruck likes to hang left too hard.
3. The CT on backroads and at night...
